But it should matter little as Brazil are coasting, even if they have done it the hard way tonight.
Robinho puts the ball into the Ecuador net but is wrongly flagged offside. That could have been five for Brazil.

Neymar surely ends Ecuador's hopes now. Maicon forces his way down the right wing before cutting in and waiting for Neymar to make his run before delivering a low cross for the wunderkind to fire in from close-range.

This is incredible. Ecuador were level for barely two minutes as Pato re-establishes Brazil's lead, this time tapping in after the Ecuador goalkeeper Elizaga, cannot hold on to Neymar's stinging 20-yard drive.
PATO SCORES FOR BRAZIL!
Ecuador equalise for the second time and it's Caicedo again! He collects th ball in space on the edge of the box and, much like his first, sends a low effort beyond Julio Cesar and it's 2-2!

Maicon picks out Pato at the far post and, slightly off balance, Pato's header brushes the top of the bar.
Brazil beginning to play with more freedom after that strike by Neymar. Still on the hunt for a third.
That was a beautifully crafted goal by Brazil. A pass and finish of the highest quality.
That didn't take long, did it? Ramires finds Ganso in space on the edge of the box before Ganso rolls an exquisite pass into the feet of Neymar, who collects the ball 15 yards out before firing a powerful effort past Elizaga.

There goes the whistle for half-time. Brazil seemed to be in cruise control but Ecuador have made a game of it after that dreadful blunder by Julio Cesar. 1-1 at the break and a tense second half ahead.
Ecuador finishing the half on a high, Brazil with their backs against the wall.
Anxious moment for Brazil as Ecuador finally find their game. Arroyo shifts the ball onto his left foot and, from the right side of the box, hits a stinging shot towards goal that forces Julio Cesar into a brilliant flying save.
That goal - as undeserved as it was given the previous 36 minutes - has breathed new life into Ecuador's game. Brazil were cruising, but now they're in a game.
That was a terrible goal for Brazil to concede, just moments after Robinho was the width of a post away from making it 2-0.
A howler from Julio Cesar gifts Caicedo an equaliser for Ecuador! On the edge of the box and seemingly running out of space, Caicedo hits a low and rather tame effort towards the Brazil goal and somehow the ball squirms under Julio Cesar's body. 1-1.
GOAL! CAICEDO SCORES FOR ECUADOR!
Robinho hits the post! Maicon hares down the right wing unchallenged after intercepting a wayward pass, cuts the ball back to Robinho, who was waiting 25 yards out and his first time effort crashes against the post. Robinho very unlucky not to make it 2-0 there.
ECUADOR: Noboa is booked for a trip on Neymar. A bit cynical, that, and deserving of the yellow card.
The goal has been coming for Brazil and it's Pato who gets it. A delectable cross by Andre Santos from the left is met by Pato, who sends a bullet header beyond Elizago, who was helpless. Brazil finally have a lead they undoubtedly deserve.
GOAL! PATO SCORES FOR BRAZIL!
Brazil absolutely dominating this one in terms of possession. Neymar, Robinho and Ganso pulling the strings for Brazil here.
Noboa goes for goal but he can't get it over the wall and under the bar as it flys out for a goal kick.
Lucio is penalised for hand ball on the edge of the Brazil box. Chance for Ecuador here...
Neymar bursts down the centre and, with Pato and Robinho in space, the youngster goes for goal with his left froot from 25 yards and it trickles wide. Needless to say, Neymar's teammates aren't too impressed.
Maicon is getting plenty of space on that right wing, something Ecuador will have to do something about. Pronto.
Maicon looks to pick out Pato at the far post but the Inter Milan full back's cross is too close to Elizaga in the Ecuador goal.
Brazil making all the early running so far, as you'd expect. Robinho is stopped by Erazo as he drives forward after he picked out well by Ganso.
Neymar is looking bright in the early stages. His corner from the left finds Thiago Silva, who heads just wide after making space at the near post.
Neymar has the first chance of note, firing over from 18 yards after he was set up by Robinho.
