One moment of quality decided the whole thing. Both teams really struggled to create much in the way of attacking quality, but Breno's winner nine minutes into stoppage time gives Palmeiras their first Copa Libertadores triumph since 1999! They were probably the better team on the whole.

FULL TIME: Palmeiras 1-0 Santos
PALMEIRAS ARE 2020 COPA LIBERTADORES WINNERS!

What they said...
90+10'
Is there any way back for Santos? There were so many stoppages before the goal that the referee is adding on some more added time to added time. One more opportunity?

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Palmeiras 1 (90+9 mins - Breno Lopes) Santos 0. That has to be a winner! A late, late winner deep in stoppage time! Palmeiras might just have won the Copa Libertadores! Breno wins the header at the back post from a Rony cross and guides his effort into the oppositte corner of the net!

Cuca sent off! The Santos head coach has been shown a red card and will have to watch the match from the stands. That seems harsh. It was the player who rugby tackled him!
90+6'
Cuca getting involved! The Santos head coach tries to retrieve the ball as it bounces out of play and a scuffle has broken out. Seems to have come out of nothing, really.
90+5'
A change for Santos in stoppage time as Madson comes on.

90+3'
Jorge can't continue! That's a shame. The 19-year-old won't be able to finish this match and Santos will be forced into a change. Did he injure himself with the overhead kick?
90+2'
Eight minutes of stoppage time seems quite remarkable for a game that has seen very little actually happen. Where on earth has that come from?!
90+1'
There will be EIGHT minutes of stoppage time played. EIGHT?!
90'
Overhead kick! Jorge gets the acrobatic effort on target after a shot had been blocked from one of his teammates. Santos have been better since making the chances from the bench!
89'
Will there be a late winner? Any goal now would surely be enough to win this match. There has been so few genuine chances. Weverton has only had to make one save!

Veiga's corner kick from the left side is cleared and then Danilo shoots tamely wide. John was quite happy to let that effort dribble past his post. Was never going to beat him.
86'
Menino is taken off by Abel and Breno comes on for the final few minutes.
85'
Rocha takes aim! The Palmeiras right back takes on the shot from 20 yards out, but the block is made and then John is fouled as he clutches the ball inside his own area.
83'
Sotledo's cross gathered! The Santos attacker dribbles into the opposition penalty box and angles a cross into the middle, but it picks up a deflection and Weverton gathers.
