Juventus v Sassuolo - as it happened

Juventus move on to what will be a momentous semi-final with Fiorentina. Sassuolo did themselves proud and maybe should have been in front at half time but Juventus finally got value for their second half dominance in the end.

Vlahovic dribbled in from the by-line and shot towards the far post only for it to be deflected off Tressoldi past Pegolo to surely seal the tie.

But again Pegolo denies Juventus with his feet, this time at the near post.

And his back-header forces yet another fine save from Pegolo.

Another strong addition to the Juventus side.

The Spaniard tries to chip the keeper but Pegalo raises his arm and blocks the shot.

McKennie met a free kick with a header which Pegalo saved well but then the rebound from de Ligt struck the post and Bonucci out of position could only spurn the ball over the bar from close range.

A fine one-two with Vlahovic but his goalbound shot is blocked by a fine lunge by Ferrari.

Henrique goes into the book

The referee penalises him for a foul.

After a fine no look through-ball from McKennie but the striker's effort is blocked by the keeper's feet.

Defrel and Henrique come on for Berardi and Traore. A bold call from the coach.

A square ball is played by Arthur for McKennie whose curling effort has Pegolo beaten but comes back off the upright.

Vlahovic had another half chance but could not hit the target.
