Dimitar Evtimov signs new one-month contract with Burton

Burton goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov has signed a new one-month contract with the club.

The 25-year-old Bulgarian has made six appearances in all competitions for the Brewers since joining on a short-term basis last month following injuries to Stephen Bywater and Brad Collins.

With Evtimov now set to stay until November 15, boss Nigel Clough told the club’s official website: “Dimitar kept a good clean sheet on Saturday (in the 1-0 Sky Bet League One win over Bristol Rovers) and we’ve been very pleased with him.

“He’s been wonderful to work with – he’s great to have around, has fit straight in with the squad and really mucked in.

“With Bradley injured with his back and Stephen still making his way back, hopefully they’ll both be fit soon.”
