Neres wraps the points up in style with a 96th-minute goal! The Brazilian has been excellent today and now he has a goal to cap a fine performance!
PSV win a corner... can they find a late, late equaliser? No, they can't. The full-time whistle is looming...
Ajax are on the verge of a famous victory. ten Hag has never beaten PSV in a league game before, but he's agonisingly close now.
- Yellow cardAndre OnanaAjax
Onana is booked for time wasting.
There will be SIX minutes of added time to play!
WIDE! PSV forward De Jong gets in front of his marker to meet a dangerous cross from the right, but he can't guide his header on target. Time is running out for the visitors.
- OffDonny van de BeekAjax
- OnLisandro MagallánAjax
Lisandro Magallan comes on for Van de Beek in Ajax's defence.
Hendrix commits a foul on the edge of the Ajax penalty area and the hosts can catch a breather.
PSV are focusing their attacks down the right flank. Angelino crosses but Ajax clear at the near post. But it's not long until the visitors regain possession. The next seven minutes are going to feel like an eternity for the Ajax faithful.
Ajax are penned in their own half, it's constant PSV pressure now. They're probing but the hosts are sitting tight with 10 men behind the ball.
- OffHakim ZiyechAjax
- OnRasmus KristensenAjax
Van de Beek's shot is deflected behind for a corner and Ajax will take their time with the set-piece. Meanwhile, Ziyech slowly walks off the pitch and is replaced by Rasmus Kristensen.
Well Ajax, how is your nerve? PSV force another corner, but Onana is off his line quickly to smother it and take the pressure off his team mates.
PSV have scored A LOT of goals in the final quarter of games this season, so this one is far from over.
- OffNick ViergeverPSV

PSV are going for broke. On comes Trent Sainsbury, who replaces defender Viergever.
- Yellow cardDonyell MalenPSV
Malen goes into the book right away for a foul on De Ligt.
- Goal by penaltyDušan TadicAjax
GOAL! Ajax 2-1 PSV
Cool as you like, Tadic sticks his penalty in the corner of the net, sending the PSV goalkeeper the wrong way, and 10-man Ajax are leading once more in this absorbing contest! It's his 20th league goal of the season.
- OffMichal SadílekPSV
- OnDonyell MalenPSV
Sadilek is coming off. Donyell Malen is his replacement.
PENALTY GIVEN! For the second time this afternoon, the referee has overturned a key decision in this match. He points to the spot and Ajax have a golden opportunity to restore their lead...
VAR IN USE! The referee is having a second look at this... is he going to give Ajax a penalty?
NO PENALTY! Well, should Ajax have a spot-kick? Neres has the beating of Schwaab, who catches the Ajax forward with his sweeping leg, but the referee signals play on.
SAVE! PSV's pressure is relentless at the moment. Ajax's defence is at sixes and sevens. De Jong delivers a precise cross to the far post but Viergever can't generate enough power on his header to test Zoet.
CHANCE! Ajax's young defence is rocking here. Rosario slips Bergwijn through on the left but the PSV striker is off balance and drills a tame effort wide of the goal.
Rosario picks up the ball on the left and he runs on and on, checking inside and firing a shot at goal from the edge of the penalty area, but it's well charged down by the Ajax wall of defenders.
This is going to be a test of Ajax's resilience. At one stage they looked favourites to close the gap at the top of the table to two points, now they will be happy if the point-difference between the clubs at full-time is five.
- OffLasse SchöneAjax
- OnJoël VeltmanAjax
Ajax make an immediate change, with Joel Veltman brought on for Schone in defence.
- GoalLuuk de JongPSV
GOAL! Ajax 1-1 PSV
And from the resulting free-kick, PSV level the scores! Talk about drama! The injured player, Angelino, whips a delightful cross into the box and De Jong rises highest and bags the equaliser with a bullet-header!
- Red cardNoussair MazraouiAjax
RED CARD! The referee has ruled out the yellow card and he's shown a straight red to Mazraoui! This could be a huge turning point in this contest.
FLASHPOINT! Mazraoui is fortunate not to be shown a straight red. He catches Angelino with a high foot to the face and he's nowhere near the ball. Wait, the referee is checking VAR... will he show him a red card?
WHAT A CHANCE! This is the opportunity PSV have been waiting for all afternoon. Three days after signing a new contract, Onana makes a huge save with his foot to deny Rosario who was released one-on-one with the Ajax goalkeeper
SHOT! Mazraoui embarks on a mazy run down the flank, skipping past a couple of challenges, before striking an ambitious effort on target. It would have been a special goal, but it's straight down the throat of Zoet who makes a comfortable save.
OUCH! Hendrix appears to stamp on the ankle of Tadic, though I don't think there was any intent. Regardless, the Ajax playmaker has to come off for some treatment, but he should be OK to continue. The referee keeps his cards in pockets.
- 2nd Half
Ajax get the game underway, it's as you were in terms of personnel.
- End of 1st Half
Ajax lead in this crunch derby at the top of the table, thanks to Daniel Schwaab's unfortunate own-goal. It's richly deserved for Erik ten Hag's side but there's still a long way to go in this six-pointer.
There will be one minute of added time to play at the end of an absorbing first-half.
Onana puts his defender Van de Beek in all kinds of trouble with a clumsy pass and he loses possession to Rosario close to the touchline. Tagliafico to the rescue, however, as the winger tracks back to make an important challenge and then draws a foul to ease the pressure on the hosts.
Ziyech tries his luck from 30 yards but the Ajax midfielder doesn't get much power in his daisy-cutter and Zoet watches it all the way and smothers it easily.
BLOCK! The ball is knocked down in the box for Bergwijn who is closely marked but he manages to get a shot away, it's blocked and PSV win a corner.
Mazraoui has three team mates in the middle to pick from but his cross, on this occasion, is poor and ends up as catching practice for PSV goalkeeper Zoet.
Tagliafico wriggles free of his marker to meet Tadic's corner delivery from the right. He flicks his header into the danger zone but PSV manage to hack it clear.
SIDE-NETTING! Viergever is left unmarked at the back post to meet a cross from the right but the PSV defender is unable to adjust his body and can't direct his header on target.
Half-an-hour has been played in this absorbing contest. Ajax are in possession but they have slowed the tempo right down, trying to catch a breather after a frantic start.
PSV have made a positive response to falling behind and they force another corner just now. Lozano's in-swinger is delivered to the near post but Ajax head the danger clear.
Mazraoui busts a gut to get back and make a crucial sliding challenge from behind on Bergwijn.
SHOT! Rosario tries to bend one in from the edge of the box but he doesn't get his angles right and another PSV attack ends in frustration.
Ajax have their noses in front in their biggest domestic game of the season so far. As it stands, they will cut PSV's lead at the top of the table to just two points! There is a long way to go, however.
- Own-goalDaniel SchwaabPSV
GOAL! Ajax 1-0 PSV
The hosts have their deserved lead! De Jong switches the ball to Ziyech on the right and he has all of the time in the world to stand up a cross to the far post. PSV's goalkeeper Zoet comes rushing off his line and Schwaab unwittingly puts it into his own net in an unfortunate own goal!
NO PENALTY! Blind lets fly with a venomous shot from all of 25 yards. It's blocked by Viergever - but did he use his hand? The referee signals play on.
The ball is floated into the crowded Ajax penalty area but De Jong mis-times his run and is caught in an offside position.
Sadilek is bundled over by De Ligt, winning his PSV side a free-kick on the right.
PSV come forward once more. Dumfries drives down the left and he has De Jong free at the far post, but he can't quite executive the cross and the ball rolls harmlessly out for a goal-kick.
Sadilek seems to have been caught by Schone on the follow-through as he fires a shot from the edge of the penalty area miles wide. He wants a free-kick and the PSV players are putting pressure on the referee, but there's nothing doing. Ajax have their goal-kick.
PSV win their first corner of the afternoon, prompting a strong reaction from the 1,500 travelling supporters. But it's a disappointing delivery and Onana still hasn't had a save to make.
PSV are finally getting to grips with the game and are now enjoying a spell of possession in midfield. De Ligt then commits a foul and from the resulting whipped free-kick, Van de Beek heads clear.
Viergever, who joined PSV from Ajax at the start of the season, is doing some stellar work defensively for the visitors. He makes a sliding intervention to cut out Tagliafico's cross from the left, with Ziyech lurking at the near post.
Sustained Ajax pressure, PSV are still penned inside their own half. Tagliafico stands up a cross to the far post but it's little Angelino who rises highest to clear.
GOAL-LINE CLEARANCE! Mazraoui drives forward menacingly down the right, drawing the keeper off his line, he cuts it across the face of goal and Viergever makes an acrobatic goal-line clearance!
Indeed, PSV are seeking to win three straight games against Ajax for the first time since 2005.
PSV have lost only one league game this season and it will take a monumental effort from Ajax to get the three points here. The hosts have started well enough, forcing an early corner, but PSV hack the danger clear.
- 1st Half
PSV get the game underway!
