Romania drop Deac

Romania coach Victor Piturca has dropped uncapped midfielder Ciprian Deac from his provisional Euro 2008 squad.

Midfielder Ovidiu Petre and goalkeeper Danut Coman, both injured, have already pulled out of the squad.

Piturca has replaced Coman with Eduard Stanciou and therefore must drop another player by the squad announcement deadline on May 28.

Romania face France in their opening Group C encounter in Austria and Switzerland before matches against Italy and the Netherlands.
