France are posing a lot of the questions now but so far it's not happening for them.

The Swiss look well and truly stunned. They were so assured and so close to going 2-0 up. They need to regroup here but France suddenly have a real spring in their step.
- Yellow cardRicardo RodríguezSwitzerland
That penalty save is looking like a quite HUGE moment here. Poor old, Ricardo Rodríguez.

HT: France 0-1 Switzerland.
A nasty clash of heads between Rabiot and Embolo leaves the Switzerland forward in a lot of pain on the ground. He's soon back on his feet though but will be thoroughly checked over during the HT interval.
Two minutes added.
Mbappe curves wide from 22 yards out after a super flick from Griezmann opened up the shooting opportunity for the PSG man.
Embolo can't quite take Xhaka's fizzing pass in his stride after the Swiss threatened to carve France open on the left side of their area.

- 1st Half
KICK OFF! We are underway.
FIVE TO GO: The players are out and the anthems are in full swing. It's a tough act to follow Spain v Croatia but whoever wins this won't care as long as they go through.
UEFA STAT: France haven't lost a competitive match in over two years, with their last such defeat coming against Turkey in a European Championship qualifier in June 2019, winning 14 times and drawing five times since. France last went on a longer unbeaten run in competitive matches from 1994 to 1999, a 27-game run, with current manager Didier Deschamps playing in 21 of them.
DID YOU KNOW? Petkovic is taking charge of his 77th match with Switzerland here. He has overseen 41 wins, 16 draws and 19 defeats. It sees him equal the all-time record number of matches of Austrian Karl Rappan, who was Switzerland coach back in the 1930s and 40s.
RESULT: Croatia 3-5 Spain aet. The winner of France v Switzerland will play La Roja in the last eight.
WATCH OUT FOR THE SHAQ-ATTACK: Liverpool’s Xherdan Shaqiri became Switzerland’s all-time leading scorer in major tournaments when he took his tally to seven with a double versus Turkey.
Vladimir Petkovic, Switzerland coach: "We were happy to win (v Turkey) and reach the Round of 16. We had a few days to wait to find out our opponents, but we’re happy to play against the world champions. Despite all the external talk – everyone is speaking as if we don’t have a chance – we believe in ourselves and we need to show what we can do on the pitch. We’re here and we want to keep living our dream."
A bit more on the team line-ups. Switzerland are unchanged from their victory over Turkey and stick with their familiar 3-4-1-2 formation. Meanwhile, it’s three changes from the 2-2 draw with Portugal for France. Pavard, Lenglet and Rabiot – who features at left-wing back - all come in.
H2H: France are unbeaten in their four previous meetings with Switzerland at a major tournament (W2, D2).
France captain Hugo Lloris: "Our talent too will help us carry on the adventure against high-quality opposition, who have achieved a lot in recent years. We have a lot of respect for the Swiss team. When you arrive at this stage of the competition, anything is possible. You have to respect your opponents. We are looking forward to starting this new competition as we know that the losers will go home."
Granit Xhaka: "I know Pogba and Kanté from the Premier League. I know the qualities they have. Pogba is a player who can decide a game by himself with his quality. Kanté is a player who is so good without the ball, but also with it. But we don’t need to focus on just these two; they have different qualities in the team. Shaqiri is an amazing player, he’s so important for us. He showed that in the last few years and against Turkey. We need a good Shaqiri (tonight)."
CONFIRMED STARTING XIs – FRANCE: Lloris, Pavard, Kimpembe, Varane, Lenglet, Pogba, Kante, Rabiot, Griezmann, Mbappe, Benzema. /// SWITZERLAND: Sommer, Rodriguez, Elvedi, Akanji, Widmer, Freuler, Xhaka, Zuber, Shaqiri, Embolo, Seferovic.
