66'

Clipped forwards... Adams' flick, Dykes! What a save again from Vaclik.

65'

Met by Hanley, held by Vaclik.

64'

McGinn wins the tussle between him and Soucek and earns a free kick. Robertson wins the corner from the resulting set play down the left.

62'

Robertson's whipped delivery... flicked on, towards Dykes at the back post! Vacliik saves again!

61'

Armstrong driving forwards well... ignores O'Donnell on the overlap... and strikes! Deflected over.

60'

An hour gone. Scotland trailing by two.

57'

A flurry of Scottish half chances from the inital Robertson cross... first McGinn, then Dykes, then Adams, but the Czechs defend resolutely enough.

56'

Hendry does well under pressure from Jankto... out to O'Donnell, but the Czech press is good and he's forced back. Scotland need to regain their composure and focus here.

54'

Boril's quick clipped free kick into Schick... and Jankto curls one narrowly high and wide.

  • Patrik Schick
GoalPatrik SchickCzech RepublicGOAL!! Robertson's throw...Hendry's shot is charged down by Jankto... and Schick... WOW! He's caught Marshall off his line from just inside the Scotland half, and it flies in and doubles the visitors' lead. 2-0.

GOAL!! Robertson's throw...Hendry's shot is charged down by Jankto... and Schick... WOW! He's caught Marshall off his line from just inside the Scotland half, and it flies in and doubles the visitors' lead. 2-0.

49'

Almost a calamity at the back for the Czechs! A hopeful ball from Robertson is almost floated over his own keeper from Kalas, but Vaclik paws it away from Dykes!

46'

Jankto's corner is cleared... McGinn breaks... Adams... O'Donnell's cross is cleared well. Here's another wave of pressure... Armstrong... Robertson's cross... it falls for Hendry! Off the bar!

45'

The Czechs coming forward early and quickly! And Marshall is forced into an early save... and another after an O'Donnell mistake, and the keeper makes a good save from Duda.

45'

There's half time. Plenty to digest in a tight game here. We'll be back in 15.

45'

McTominay driving into the box from the ricochet, goes down... but the referee tells him to get up.

45'

A minute to go.

  • Patrik Schick

GOAL! Cleared by Hanley, but in from the second ball... and Patrik Schick steals in and glances it beyond Marshall! A real blow for the Scots.

40'

Another corner off McTominay.

39'

Darida's outswinger is turned into a positive as Kral wins a corner on the other side. Jantko over this one.

38'

Corner, Czech Republic, conceded by Liam Cooper on the far side.

36'

Jack Hendry does brilliantly against Jankto to win a throw in the right defensive channel.

34'

Robertsom skins Coufal after lovely interplay between McTominay and Armstorng, and floats in a cross... but no one is there in the middle and the Czechs can break, until O'Donnell steps in and wins back posssession for Scotland.

32'

Delivered in... it falls to McGinn! Blocked!

32'

What a chance for Scotland! Lovely move from Christie, as Dykes decoys the run, and Robertson forces the save from Vaclik... corner!

30'

A flurry of Czech pressure in and around the Scotland box here... floated in by Jankto, Schick's flicked header, a melee occurs... but Marshall finally holds.

28'

Better maintaining of possession from the Czechs here: the Scots taking a breather and dropping deep into their defensive shape.

25'

Foul on Robertson by Coufal.

23'

Half way through this first half. Scotland have had the better chances here: they're the ones that deserve to be ahead.

21'

O'Donnell needs to find his focus a bit more; he's been sloppy with his touches and his passing, and he gets in the way of a mazy Christie dribble.

20'

20 minutes played. Goalless still.

18'

Lovely work down the right from Scotland... Robertson's cross... Dykes at the near post! Wide.

16'

I say that, and Schick forces the save from Marshall! McGinn won the ball but went down unfouled, and Jankto found Schick who tested the Scotland keeper.

15'

A promising open quarter of an hour here for Scotland; they've been the better side, and they're controlling the game here.

13'

Jankto's delivery is escorted behind by O'Donnell.

12'

Darida is fouled by Armstrong wide right in the attacking half. Chance here for them to swing it in for the first time.

10'

Coufal's cross is nodded high and into the gloves of Marshall by Schick.

9'

The Czechs are trying to ease themselves into this game, finally trying to get feet on the ball, but they have always got the option of clipping a ball in behind for Schick to chase.

6'

Robertson's delivery is cleared, and the second wave of Scottish pressure is relieved. Coufal with the throw for the visitors.

6'

The long throw is misjudged by Kalas, McGinn strikes! Blocked, and second time around he wins the corner.

5'

A good kick from Marshall and pressure from O'Donnell down the right wins the Scots a throw deep in Czech territory.

3'

A nervy touch from O'Donnell goes out for a Czech throw.

2'

Immediately we see the Scottish midfield shape: McTominay shielding with McGinn and Armstrong more advanced. Plenty of early Scotland ball down their left through Robertson, naturally.

13:56

Here come the players.

13:50

10 minutes to kick off.

13:45

15 minutes to go.

13:41
13:41
13:40
13:35

Czech Republic: Vaclik, Coufal, Celustka, Kalas, Boril, Soucek, Kral, Jankto, Darida, Masopust, Schick.

13:34

Scotland: Marshall, Hanley, Cooper, Hendry, O'Donnell, Armstrong, McTominay, McGinn, Robertson, Christie, Dykes.

13:34

For those that missed the lineups...

13:27

Kieran Tierney news from Steve Clarke: "He picked up a little niggle in training, so he's not ready for this one, but hopefully for the next one [against England]."

13:24

Football is nothing without fans.

13:23
13:22
13:22

To reiterate, Scotland are without talismanic defender Kieran Tierney today due to injury.

13:13

On the bench for the home side, Che Adams, perhaps their most potent goal threat, will add pace in behind and a poacher's instinct should he be introduced, and Kevin Nisbet, fresh off the back of his quick-fire goal against Holland could also be given a chance to impress. Chelsea's Billy Gilmour is fit enough to make the bench, and could well be introduced should the Scots need a more incisive eye for a pass in the latter stages of the game.

13:12

Matej Vydra of Burnley and Pavel Kaderabek of Hoffenheim are other notable names in the Czech squad, and both have places on the bench here. Kaderabek is particularly unlucky to miss out, being a top-quality right-back, but the season that Coufal has had at West Ham makes the selection understandable, particularly when considering the rapport he has struck up with club mate Soucek.

13:09

Other familiar names will include Tomas Kalas as centre-back, formerly of Chelsea and Fulham, now plying his trade with Bristol City, and Ondrej Darida at Hertha Berlin, previously a loanee at Norwich. Darida will be the side's main creator; he will look to receive the ball to feet on the half turn and occupy the tight spaces between the Scotland lines, looking to slide through balls in towards Schick to give the Czechs their most likely route to goal.

13:07

The Czechs have their set-up in a way that solidifies them defensively, but also suits their most dangerous figures. Tomas Soucek will be allowed to get forward from his position in the defensive pivot to add another body in the box from floated crosses, whilst his West Ham team-mate Vladimir Coufal will have the licence to overlap beyond right winger Lukas Masopust. Patrik Schick of Bayer Leverkusen leads the line, and the visitors will lean heavily on him to score the goal that could win them this tight encounter.

13:05

Instead, he is replaced with experienced head Grant Hanley of Norwich City, who joins Liam Cooper and Jack Hendry in the back trio. Ahead of them, Stephen O'Donnell and captain Andy Robertson provide the width at wing-back, with Scott McTominay finally fielded in midfield more regularly on the international stage after deputising at centre-half. John McGinn and Stuart Armstrong complete the midfield three, with Ryan Christie given the freedom to roam behind and around the lone striker Lyndon Dykes.

13:04

For the home side, we're looking at what is most probably a 3-5-2 shape, with the most notable absentee being Kieran Tierney, who is ruled out with an injury - a huge blow not just for the Arsenal defender, but for his country as well.

13:04

Let's dissect these teams then, shall we?

13:02

And here is the Czech side...
