England break at speed. Kane turns form deep and rakes a wonderful ball over the top for the rampaging Sancho. The Dortmund man looks to be in, but can't quite get the ball under control and the Czechs manage to get men back to thwart him.
Movement on the Czech bench. How about it Gareth?
Masopust cuts inside and unleashes a curving, dipping 20-yard strike that Pickford is forced to tip over the bar.

Tomas Soucek skews a horrible left-foot strike well wide of the near post after the Czechs pounced upon sloppy play from the visitors and poured forward on the counter.

Masopust drags his shot across the face of goal after the Czechs had cut England open once more with a simple cross and flick-on from the left.
Pickford's attempt at a feint is easily read and the England keeper's heart must have skipped a beat as he just about managed to hack the ball away. Needless dithering from the Everton stopper.

A super double block! Kane finds space for a shot with a late run into the area. His effort ricochets to Mount, who sees his attempt on the spin well blocked.
England fail to deal with another set piece. This time Schick meets a left-wing free kick but can't generate enough power on it to trouble Pickford.
England have been second best, particularly in that midfield area.
More probing play from Boril. He sees the run of Jankto, who ghosts into the left of the area and wastes little time in steering a fizzing cross into the six-yard box. Fortunately for England, no-one is there to convert for the home team.
Jan Boril is given time and space to push forward from the left, cut inside and test Pickford with a strike from distance.

OPINION: England once feared trips to Prague and Sofia - now Southgate relishes them.
More from Sterling: "We're developing and we're kind of getting that winning mentality. The Nations League was a bit disappointing, but we've got another chance now and I feel that a lot of the players don't just want to be involved in tournaments and finish in the quarter-finals and say that was a good run."
Raheem Sterling on England's attack: "Still learning, but at the same time are producing as well, so, yeah, it's an exciting front three. But, you know, we've got to do it in big games, big tournaments. That's when we'll be judged if we're a great front three or not."
Gareth Southgate: "The Czechs have a wonderful football history really... More successful than ours, in European Championships in particular, but there are a lot of countries in that situation. We've got to take on each challenge and we're a team who are slowly improving, learning all the time."
So, it's three changes for England following their high-scoring 5-3 victory over Kosovo in September. The stand-out line sees Mason Mount make his first start for the senior side while Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose come into the full back berths.
