KICK OFF! Belarus get this Group C Euro qualifier underway.
No surprise to see Holland opting for the system that served them so well in the Nations League wins over Germany and France. It's 4-3-3 with the same starting XI that saw the Dutch beat the world champions in this stadium back in November. As for Belarus, they go with a 4-5-1 formation that sees Ferencváros striker Signevich lead the line.
Our friends at Gracenote have crunched the numbers and stats to reveal who will qualify for the European Championship finals in 2020 ahead of the qualifier...
Belarus coach Igor Kriushenko: "We have had little time to prepare for the 2020 EUFA EURO Qualifying. However, all the teams faced similar conditions. I would like to note that the qualifiers are another chance and we will do our best to make the maximum use of it to show high results."
Frenkie de Jong on asking Koeman for advice about agreeing a move from Ajax to Barcelona ahead of the 2019-20 season: "I've asked him a lot. I know that he's been successful over there. I wanted to know what it was like, how the city, daily life and the club were. It's always comforting to know those things before going there."
Ronald Koeman: "Well, expectations now for the team are far higher now than when we came in – and that’s good. Big things will be expected of us in the EURO qualifiers and that reflects the results and performances we’ve had. It’s a big change, and a good one, because when we took over the fans were not at all positive about the national team. Fortunately results have been encouraging, and the fans now see in the players the kind of happiness that they expect from those who represent the national team."
