Pass after pass after pass, mostly across their own defensive line - the Netherlands are really sucking the life out of the contest.
The Dutch are suffocating the hosts now by absolutely dominating the possession. The home supporters are growing frustrated and are now booing every pass.

NI sub: Sensing the game is turning against his side, Michael O'Neill makes his first change, as Michael Smith replaces Saville.
Save! The Dutch are dominating possession now and inevitably create a decent opportunity. Veltman crosses from the right and his pin-point delivery is met by Babel whose header is saved by Peacock-Farrell. But the visitors are really knocking on the door now.
Kroos makes it 3-0 to Germany.
The Netherlands are playing with much more pace and purpose since the restart. Whatever Koeman told his players at the interval has worked. No longer does it appear they are happy to take the point which would see them qualify automatically.
Goretzka has doubled Germany's advantage at home to Belarus. Well, it was always asking a lot for Belarus to do Northern Ireland a favour, wasn't it?
Chance! van de Beek is played through behind the Northern Ireland defence but his cross is hacked clear by Dallas.
Chance! Talk about starting on the front foot! Straight from kick-off, Lewis stands up an inviting cross and the unmarked Magennis ought to do better, heading over from a decent position.

Kick-off! Northern Ireland get the ball rolling in the second half. It's as you were in terms of personnel.

Half-time: The referee calls time on an extraordinary first half. Northern Ireland made a breath-taking start and then Steven Davis blasted a penalty over the bar. The Dutch have been sloppy but have had their chances too, Berghuis whacking the woodwork. How it's still goalless is anyone's guess.
Goal disallowed! The Dutch have the ball in the net but it's ruled out as Peacock-Farrell was impeded.
The Dutch win a free-kick, which Promes floats in and finds van Dijk in behind the Northern Ireland defence. He nods it centrally but the visitors are alert to the danger and clear their lines.
Germany have taken the lead against Belarus which means that Northern Ireland definitely have to win this evening, as it stands.
Whyte rolls a dangerous ball across the face of goal and Propper slips as tries to clear it! He's grateful to his defenders as the Dutch scramble it clear.

Dutch sub: Clearly unhappy with how his side are performing, Ronald Koeman makes a first half change. de Roon is making way for Davy Propper in midfield.
Over! The Dutch continue to cause problems down the hosts' left hand side. Babel tees up Blind whose shot whistles over Peacock-Farrell's crossbar.
Has justice prevailed? It was a harsh penalty to give against the Dutch as it certainly didn't look a deliberate handball. But what a chance for Northern Ireland. How will the hosts respond to such a setback?
Penalty missed! Davis lifts his spot-kick over the bar! Mr Dependable for Northern Ireland has a moment to forget. It's a real let off for the Dutch.
PENALTY TO NORTHERN IRELAND! Veltman uses his hand to block Saville's shot and the referee points to the spot!
As positive as Northern Ireland's performance has been, they're leaving too much space in the midfield area. Babel has the time and space to get his shot away but he sends it well wide.
Promes runs down the left and with a clever piece of footwork, creates the space for a cross - but it's over the head of everyone.
The pitch is proving quite difficult for many. We saw Corry Evans slip a moment ago, but there have been many more who have also lost their footing.
NI get away with one! Corry Evans slips in midfield and van de Beek advances with a lung-busting run through the middle. The ball is slipped through to Babel - but he's offside.
The Dutch have already made 150 passes; Northern Ireland just 25. But the hosts have looked extremely dangerous with their attacking moves.
Davis wins the ball in midfield, Magennis plays it into the path of Whyte with a cushioned pass and the flanker floats a lovely ball into the box - but it's just over the head of Saville who had made a late run into the box.
Just wide! Promes weaves his magic on the left flank, cutting inside now and curling a shot just the far post with the fully-stretched Peacock-Farrell struggling to get there.
Blind gets in behind the Northern Ireland defence before cutting it back to Babel but he heads straight at Peacock-Farrell. Warning signs from the Dutch.
After a desperately shaky start, the Dutch are beginning to settle. They're enjoying a lot of possession now in the midfield area.
Yellow card! de Roon is booked for a foul on McNair meaning he will miss their final game against Estonia.
Off the crossbar! The Dutch should score. Promes weaves his way into the box before cutting it back to Berghuis and he hits the woodwork!
Koeman described Northern Ireland as horrible to watch after the game in the Netherlands. That would have riled the home players up. They're playing like they have a point to prove (and a major competition to qualify for).
Northern Ireland continue to pummel the Dutch defence - another wonderful McNair delivery causes chaos in the penalty area, it falls to Saville whose shot is blocked by a desperate visiting defender.
Just wide! Another chance goes begging! McNair's beautiful cross is met by the head of Magennis but he glances just wide!
Close! What a start by NI! The hosts win a corner and Jonny Evans heads the delivery just wide of the far post!
Chance! Corry Evans is quick to close down Cilleesen, blocking his clearance but the ball doesn't fall kindly for him and his cut-back can't find Magennis.
There have been plenty of special nights in Belfast for O'Neill over the years. The Green and White Army have been on one hell of a ride under his stewardship. And it may not be over just yet - last night's results means Northern Ireland are at least guaranteed a place in the play-off.

KICK-OFF! A raucous atmosphere in Windsor Park. Taking the Dutch scalp would be a perfect farewell for O'Neill, wouldn't it?
Four changes for Ronald Koeman. Lyon striker Memphis Depay is ruled out by injury. Gini Wijnaldum is fit only for the bench, while Denzel Dumfries and Steven Berwijn also drop out. Joel Veltman, Donny van de Beek, Quincy Promes and Steven Berghuis come in.
Michael O'Neill, taking charge of his country for the first time since being named Stoke boss, makes three changes in what could be his final home game as manager of Northern Ireland. Jamal Lewis, Corry Evans and Josh Magennis are in for Michael Smith, Kyle Lafferty and Shane Ferguson.
