Oh, Luka Jovic too, but too little too late for Serbia... unless??
Oh. by the way, if anyone cares after that flurry of goals, Joao Moutinho's on....
GOAL! *John McEnroe voice* Are you kidding me?! It's 4-2! Russia score to go within one, but Bernardo Silva slides Portugal back into their two goal cushion with a composed finish after Guerreiro's pull back.
GOAL! Quite remarkably, Serbia are back in it again! Tadic is at the fore yet again, and Aleksandar Mitrovic spanks a rocket through Rui Patricio at the near post and gets Serbia within reach yet again! They can't could they?
Katai replaces Kostic as Serbia seek to claw a goal back with an injection of fresh legs.
GOAL! It's surely all over, and guess who? Cristiano Ronaldo is on target, slid through by Bernardo Silva, and the great man does the rest with aplomb. Siiiiiiiiii!!
Portugal are in a state of limbo at present. They still have the lead, but many of their players are confused as to whether to push for a definite winner or to shut up shop and grind out the win.
Joao Felix replaces goalscorer Guedes.
Serbia are buoyed by that goal and have the bit between their teeth at the moment. Dusan Tadic is slowly becoming more instrumental and is finally gelling with Mitrovic. This time, the Ajax playmaker's shot is wide, but Serbia are looking much better.
GOAL! Serbia are right back in it! A towering Nikola Milenkovic header from a Kolarov outswinging corner halves the deficit and Serbia are within one!
Joao Cancelo of Manchester City replaces Semedo.
Pause in play as Nelson Semedo is stretchered off injured.
GOAL! A fabulous slaloming run from Valencia forward Goncalo Guedes which results in a left-footed rocket past Dmitrovic and doubles the Portuguese's lead.
A scramble on the edge of the Portugal area, ricocheting towards Luka Milivojevic, who drags the shot wide. Serbia have come out with more expression now and are pushing for the opener.
Just wide of the target. Not his typical knuckleball, more curve on it than usual, but still wide.
Ronaldo chopped (excuse the pun) down on the edge... free kick... here comes the big man...
CLOSE! Driving run cutting in from the left from Ronaldo, whose shot flashes past the far post with Dmitrovic scrambling.
Well worked down the left between Kolarov and Kostic, but the Frankfurt winger's cross is desperately shanked clear by a sliding Dias... here comes the Serbian corner, and Kolarov's outswinger is aimed at Mitrovic, who fouls his marker.
GOAL! A terrible mishap from Dmitrovic who drops Fernandes' cross, and under pressure from Ronaldo, the Serbian 'keeper drops a clanger and William Carvalho prods home.
WIDE! Lazovic is causing some problems now down the Serbian right, and his drilled ball across finds Kolarov who screws his shot wide of the near post. Serbia are seemingly back in this contest!
CLOSE! A wonderful threaded ball through to Lazovic from Tadic, but a Portuguese melee is able to shepherd the ball safely back into the gloves of Wolves 'keeper Patricio, with Mitrovic dangerously lurking.
Deliciously inviting free kick whipped in by Kolarov, and it flicks off Mitrovic and goes behind, but it was a sighter for Serbia!
The pre-match prediction was right; Portugal have had 69% of ball possession, but Serbia have had the only shot on target thus far... a game of two very different styles...
It's a proper 4-3-3 instead of a diamond now for Portugal; Ronaldo is playing as the 9 while Bernardo Silva and Guedes have drifted right and left respectively, with Fernandes and Carvalho as the free 8s and Pereira sitting deep.
A floated free kick delivered by Fernandes, but Goncalo Guedes shanks it over from the resulting long shot.
Portugal are getting on the ball now and dictating the game's tempo, and Nikola Maksimovic is booked for a clip on Cristiano Ronaldo.
Portugal have started with expression and dynamism and Bernardo Silva is at the heart of it, and his jinking run wins them a corner. However, it's fisted away by Dmitrovic and Serbia clear their lines.
CLOSE! Aleksandar Kolarov's overlapping run results in a crossing opportunity, and Mitrovic's knock down is fired into Patricio's midriff by the on-rushing Tadic. First shot of the game, and it's on target... could this be a goal fest?
The teams are out; 5 minutes to go till kick off...
Tactically, we're expecting a fascinating battle. Serbia will most likely be the more direct, utilising Aleksandar Mitrovic's physicality with Dusan Tadic looking to feed off the knock downs in the number 10 hole. Portugal will, of course, revolve everything they do through their talismanic captain Cristiano, and they have the creative Bernardo Silva in the hole behind Ronaldo and Guedes, with the Manchester City man looking to slide through balls into the channels for both players to chase.
Looking at both sides' options on the bench, options are aplenty: Serbia have the likes of long-term Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to turn to, as well as Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic and Adem Ljajic. Portugal, meanwhile have the likes of Wolves midfield pair Ruben Neces and Joao Moutinho, as well as the pace of Rafa Silva and the thorny movement of young prospect Joao Felix.
Both sides will be gunning for a win after disappointing starts to their respective campaigns, with the Euro 2016 champions Portugal seeking their first win and languishing in 4th, and Serbia have the chance to leapfrog Luxembourg into 2nd, with both sides tied on four points.
The visitors lineup in a midfield 4-1-2-1-2 diamond, that could transition into a 4-3-3 at periods: Patricio, Semedo, Dias, Fonte, Guerreiro; Pereira; Fernandes, Carvalho; Silva; Guedes, (a certain Cristiano...) Ronaldo.
Serbia lineup as follows in a 4-2-3-1 shape: Dmitrovic, Milenkovic, Maksimovic, Nastasic, Kolarov; Matic, Milivojevic; Lazovic, Tadic, Kostic; Mitrovic.
