FT: Molde 0-3 Arsenal. That is more like it from Arsenal. A great second-half display sees the Gunners through to the knockout stages of the Europa League, with Nicolas Pepe impressing. Thanks for joining us. Goodnight.
Arsenal still pressing for more here, but Balogun is offside.
Three minutes of added time here.
Less than a minute...
Some wayward passing at the back for Arsenal is threatening to ruin their clean sheet.
Smith Rowe with the assist. Arsenal's youngsters are making an impression here.
- GoalFolarin BalogunArsenal
What an introduction that is! Fresh off the bench, on his second game, Balogun takes a fine touch and finds the net.
GGGGOOOOOOOAAALLLLLLL!!!!! Molde 0-3 Arsenal. What a moment for the young man Balogun! His first Arsenal goal, with his first touch since coming on puts the icing on the cake.
- OffEddie NketiahArsenal
- OnFolarin BalogunArsenal
Folarin Balogun comes on for his second Arsenal appearance in place of Nketiah.
But you are, Sam.
Arsenal doing their best just to run the clock down here now.
OVER! As close as Molde have come in this second half, but Bolly fires just over.
Change for Arsenal, with Lacazette and WIllock replaced by Emile Smith Rowe and Kieran Tierney.
Willock with the strong run, but he is fouled.
WHAT A SAVE! Lacazette needed that to go in for his confidence. He stuck the ball well for the edge of the box, but Linde gets across brilliantly to tip wide.
Eikrem with the ball across for Bolly, but he cannot get it under control.
Molde are still pressing here. They are not beaten yet.
Great defending from Maitland-Niles as he sees the ball behind for a goal kick.
- OffGranit XhakaArsenal
- OnDani CeballosArsenal
Change for Arsenal now, with Dani Ceballos on for Xhaka.
Just the CL to go now...
- OffEtzaz HussainMolde FK
- OnMathis BollyMolde FK
Double change for Molde with Hussain and James replaced by Bolly and Omoijuanfo.
They have been a different side since the break.
SHOULD HAVE BEEN THREE! Great cross from Pepe again, but Nketiah heads over, from a good position.
All about the inch-perfect low cross from Willock, into the path of Nelson, who had the simple task of tapping home.
- GoalReiss NelsonArsenal
GGGGOOOOOAAAALLLLLL!!! Molde 0-2 Arsenal. Nelson surely puts this game to bed.
Eddie Nketiah, who has had a quiet game so far, pokes the ball home from close range, but he is offside.
Comfortable football from Arsenal here, as they keep possession and look more relaxed.
It is working...
Willock clips a cross to the back post, Pepe stops the ball dead before curling a fine finish into the net. It had to be him, given he's been the main threat.
- GoalNicolas PépéArsenal
GGGGGOOOOOAALLLLLL!!! Molde 0-1 Arsenal. Pepe goes one better and finds the net to break the deadlock.
CROSSBAR! What a goal that would have been from Pepe! Once again he cuts inside onto his left, arrows a beauty of a strike towards the top corner, it looks to be flying in, but the ball hits the underside of the crossbar and comes out.
Cedric with the low cross but Nelson cannot get there.
- 2nd Half
KICK OFF! We are back up and running here, with David Luiz replaced by Rob Holding.
He does look like a shadow of the player he can be.
It certainly has.
- End of 1st Half
HT: Molde 0-0 Arsenal. Once again, Arsenal are not looking all that threatening going forward. Pepe the most dangerous, butt it is the home side who have had the better of the openings.
One of added time as Runarsson makes a mess of a clearance.
Great defending from Sinyan underneath his own crossbar to clear Nelson's cross away from danger.
Eikrem with an absolutely age to get the shot away, but Xhaka makes the block.
Nelson, who has looked as lively as anyone, works space for the shot but cannot find the target.
Slow and ponderous from Arsenal. Lacazette should really drive towards the box but takes an age to get the ball into a shooting position.
Maitland-Niles looks for Nelson down the line, but it is cut out.
Another cross into the Arsenal penalty area causes problems, but Mustafi does well to see it behind.
Delay in play for Luiz to get some treatment for a head injury.
Loud appeals from this partial crowd here for a penalty for handball, but nothing is given.
Super cross from Birk Risa to the back post, but it comes of Maitland-Niles for a corner.
Trying to impress much, Nicolas?
Pepe clips a cross towards Nelson but he gets too much on it.
Some possession now for the home side as Runarsson comes out to claim a cross.
Arsenal the dominant side at the moment. Everything is through Pepe.
Pepe is the main threat.
WIDE! Pepe does everything right, cuts onto his left foot, but fires just wide.
Then straight down the other end, Pepe fires straight at the goalkeeper. Great pace to this.
WHAT A MISS! Molde really should be in front. Eikrem half volleys a quite brilliant ball across the face of goal for centre-back Sinyan at the far post, and he's a yard out on the stretch, but he someone guides the ball back across goal and into Arsenal understudy goalkeeper Runarsson's arms!
SAVE! Lovely football from Arsenal, as Alex Lacazette feeds Nelson who is denied at the near post.
Pepe arrives at the back post but slices his strike well over the top.
Stian Gregersen beats David Luiz to a corner, but he cannot direct the header on target.
Sipper Magnus Eikrem whips a cross into the middle but Arsenal get the ball clear.
Molde enjoying plenty of the ball here, and looking much more at home on this pitch.
Pitch looks very slippy, as Reiss Nelson slips over.
Andreas Linde is forced to tip Ainsley Maitland-Niles' chipped cross over as Arsenal start well here.
KICK OFF! We are under way here on this artificial pitch.
So here we go. Unlike their struggles in front of goal at home, Arsenal have scored at least once in each of their last 19 matches in major European competition (43 goals in total); they’ve only had a longer run once – 21 games between October 2003 and November 2005.
Quite the roster!
The Gunner’s form, however, on the road in Europe is impressive. Arsenal have only been defeated once in their last 14 away games in the group stages of a major European competition (W10 D3), against FC Köln in November 2017 in the only game they’ve failed to score in during this run.
It might not necessarily be a walk in the park for Arsenal this evening. Molde had won three UEFA Europa League matches in a row before Arsenal beat them 4-1 in the reverse fixture earlier this month – they haven’t lost consecutive matches in the competition since a run of a three games in October/November 2012
If you read just one Maradona tribute today…
A lovely setting.
If he keeps his discipline, Nicolas Pepe will be a valuable asset to Arsenal. No Arsenal player has scored more goals (2), made more assists (2), taken more shots (11) or created more chances (8) than Pépé in the Europa League this season.
Some good news for Arsenal fans ahead of next week’s Europa League clash…
HEAD TO HEAD: Norwegian sides have lost their last four home meetings with English sides in all European competition by an aggregate score of 0-11, with Molde v Arsenal the first such game since Tromsø IL’s 0-2 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League in November 2013.
ARTETA MIXES IT UP: In a strong position in the group, Mikel Arteta has shuffled his pack, with only three players surviving from the 0-0 draw at Leeds at the weekend. One of those, however, is the man sent off for wielding the headbutt - Nicolas Pepe. Joe Willock and Granit Xhaka also remain.
TEAM NEWS – ARSENAL: Runarsson; Cedric, David Luiz, Mustafi, Maitland-Niles; Willock, Xhaka; Nelson, Pepe, Nketiah, Lacazette... Subs: Macey, Hein, Bellerin, Tierney, Holding, Cebellos, Smith Rowe, Cottrell, Azeez, Balogun.
The teams are in...
