19:39

Thanks for your company tonight - ta-ra.

19:38

That's an excellent performance from Legia, who top the group with six points from two. Leicester join Napoli, the other favourites for it, at the bottom with one from two.

19:38

Full-time: Legia Warsaw 1-0 Leicester City

90+5'

Gosh, Spartak now lead 2-1 in Naples! Leicester are in all sorts!

90+5'

Barnes comes inside onto his right foot and swirls a cross towards the back post, but there's too much on it, the ball sails behind, and this is nearly over!

90+2'

Elsewhere, Tammy Abraham is still at it.

90+2'

Maddison makes a run in behind for Barnes, who finds him nicely, but all he can manage is a poke past the near post.

90'

There'll be five added minutes.

90'

Here comes Kastrati again, again moving across the box from left to right, except this time he finds Pekhart who has the goal gaping! But the panic sets in, the head goes back, and the fish goes over the bar.

89'

Look at this! Kastrati zooms onto a ball down the left and cuts inside past Vestergaard then past Soyuncu! he's going to finish it! So he swivels to drive inside the near post, only Schmeichel extends a leg and somehow diverts the ball onto the post!

88'

It didn't take long for Pekhart to assert himself; he's booked for fouling Thomas.

87'

Elsewhere in the group, Spartak are holding Napoli, which is probably good for Leicester.

86'

Nice from Tielemans, a nonchalant ball down the line allowing Thomas to cut back for Maddison, and Miszta is out of his goal! So Maddison nips wqde of him, then swivels into a shot that's kicked away, and when he slings over a cross seconds later, the keeper claims well.

84'

Emreli was basically on his way off, and Pekhart replaces him.

83'

Oh aye, while we were watching a replay of the Emreli chance, a minor scuffle blossomed, led by Emereli and Soyuncu. Emreli and Maddison are booked.

83'

Legia send on Lopes for josue.

82'

Vardy replaces Daka.

81'

Emereli counters and Kastrati is in the box! But instead of looking for him, he shoots, and is invited to share some thoughts after shooting wide.

79'

Legia send on Abu Hanna for Johansson.

78'

Leicester send on Lookman for Amartey.

77'

Johansson takes some treatment and has to stay off while the corner comes in, headed away well by Kastrati.

75'

Nice from Leicester, Maddison playing a sharp wall-pass off Barnes and dashing to the line, but Wieteska does really well to block his cross behind.

74'

Leicester work it wide to Amartey, whose cross is well behind Daka ... so Daka attempts an overhead kick that sails over the top. He's not short of confidence.

72'

Kastrati hammers Maddison across the back of the knees and it'll be Maddison who swings in the free-kick from out on the right. It's a decent ball too, but someone goes too soon and the flag goes up.

69'

Maddson is already making a difference, taking the ball from Tielemans and lifting a fine pass over the Legia defence. Daka can't quite control it, but their quality is beginning to assert itself.

68'

Rodgers has seen enough, sending on Barnes and Maddison for Dewsbury-Hall and Perez.

66'

WHAT A MISS! Dewsbury-Hall curls his corner into the middle and Vestergaard is up with Misztva stranded! But with the net gaping, he misses his header, the keeper scurrying back to smuggle his shouldered effort around the post.

65'

Nice from Tielemans, urging Castagne to overlap him and delaying the pass until he's there, the resultant cross blocked behind for a corner.

64'

Which so far they're not threatening to do, Thomas crossing from the right but forcing Daka to contort himself to get behind the ball, Miszta saving his header easily enough.

63'

A decent minute or two for Legia, moving the ball nicely through midfield with Kharatin to the fore, then when Leicester win it back they quickly settle into shape and challenge Leicester to break them down.

62'

Leicester had more first-half possession but without threatening much. Now, though, Legia are sitting back, so though Leicester haven't created loads, it looks more likely that they might.

60'

Soumare is starting to influence things, and he slides a pass towards the line for Thomas ... who can't find a blue shirt with his cut-back.

59'

Surely Leicester will make a change soon. They're playing better now, but Legia aren't exactly on the rack.

57'

Now here come Legia on the counter, Wieteska finding Emereli who heads for the line, but his cross for Josue is poor and Schmeichel collects easily enough.

57'

Dewsbury-Hall bangs straight into the wall; that was poor.

56'

Perez finds Amartey, who rolls Kharatin and wears the foul; free-kick Leicester, edge of the box, right of centre...

54'

Leicester have got full-backs at wing-back and it shows. They could use Barnes attacking his marker or Albrighton sticking crosses into the box.

54'

Leicester triangulate nicely down the right, then Soumare beckhams a decent cross into the box, but it's just too high for Daka.

53'

Ah, that's because he gobbed off at the ref.

52'

Josue is booked; for what I did not see.

51'

Emreli is absolutely full of it, collecting a pass from Kharatin and spinning Dewsbury-Hall to lamp a rasp just over the bar from 20 yards.

50'

The absolute state of things. Trapp, though, is ok.

49'

This has been much better from Leicester.

48'

The next corner picks out Perez at the back stick and, unmarked, he flicks into an unguarded net ... but the flag goes up because at the front post, Amartey was offside.

48'

Better from Leicester, the ball bouncing about in the box with Vestergaard and Daka putting themselves about, but Wieteska sticks it behind.

47'

Leicesterr win a free-kick which Tielemans leaves for Dewsbury-Hall to swing out, Wieteska leaping to head behind.

47'
46'

No changes for either side, but I doubt Brendan Rodgers sits through much more of Leicester's first-half fare.

46'

We go again.

18:32

Half-time: Legia Warsaw 1-1 Leicester City

45+1'

Daka looks dangerous and Dewsbury-Hall's scuffed shot almost finds its way through to him.

45'

There'll be one additional minute.

45'

On the touchline, Czesław Michniewicz, the Legia manager, is doing a lot of red-faced shouting.

43'

I can't see Rodgers tolerating this behaviour for much longer. He's got his big guns on the bench, which tells us he intends to win here, so I doubt they sit at the side for much longer.

41'

WHAT A MISS! GOODNESS ME! Tielemans wins a loose ball and with one pass splits the Legia defence, Daka controlling and turning with one deft touch. He might finish himself, but Perez gets there first so he steps aside, only for his mate to slide wide of the near post from 10 yards! That is a tremendous oversight!

39'

Better from Leicester, Dewsbury-Hall crossing again, and this time Nawrocki needs to make a fine intervention to take the ball away from Perez.

38'

Dewsbury-Hall finds Thomas who looks to go outside Jedrzejczyk but the ball gets stuck under his feet and his cross is blocked. He wins it back though, only for Dewsbury-Hall to botch the crossing opportunity that affords him.

37'

Leicester are far too slow in buildup and aren't making angles for passes.

36'
35'

Better from Leicester, Tielemans flipping a decent ball into the box. But Castagne's header back across is misdirected and Miszta collects ahead of Daka.

33'

If Leicester lose this, they'll have a lot of work to do to claw back five points on Legia in four games, one of which is Napoli away. Uusally, 10 points is enough for qualification, so they'll likely need three wins from what's left. They're capable, but it's an ask.

33'

Rangers are also losing 1-0 away, to Sparta Prague.

31'

GOAL! Legia Warsaw 1-0 Leicester City (Emreli) This is a lovely effort, the ball coming into Emereli who holds Amartey off with a deft touch - the defender has to be stronger there - then shifts it left while Vestergaard looks on, to skid a shot in off the far post for his tenth goal of the season! That's no more than Legia deserve and Leicester are in a lot of trouble.

30'

A problem with Leicester's 35-2 is that Thomas is dealing with two, sometimes three men on his own. Perhaps 4-4-1-1 might work better.

28'

Bit of possession for Leicester, but all of it entirely unthreatening and then Tielemans' poor first touch sets Legia away, Slisz looking to drive-lob Schmeichel from 40 yards and seeing his effort sail wide.

25'

Here come Legia again, Mladenovic finding Jedrzejczyk, who flicks nicely for Johansson. But Josue gets to the ball first and though his cross is perfect for Emereli, he thrashes over the bar from close range so must be relieved to see the flag go up against Josue.

25'

The corner goes short and whe the ball is eventually hoisted into the box, Soyuncu yeets it to safety.

24'

Nice from Legia, Martins flipping a ball over the top and down the side for Johansson, who looks like the danger man. He wins a corner off Soyuncu.

22'

We've hardly seen Tielemans and Soumare, who are struggling to influence the game at all.

20'

They booed the taking of a knee 20 minutes ago.

18'

But this is better from Leicester, Perez curving a lovely pass in behind after a bit of midfield pinball. And Daka is onto it too, but he's under pressure from Wieteska and can only stroke his half-volley wide.

16'

Leicester can't get hold of the ball in midfield, so are struggling to get their attackers into the game.

14'

Johansson knocks into Emereli, who flicks around the corner and wears Soyuncu ploughing through him. It's been a rough start to the game for the Turk.

13'

Legia knock it about while Leicester chase.

11'

Aarghhh! Leicester win another corner and Miszta comes again, but this time the ball skids off his knuckles to Perez ... who can't sort his feet out to tap into the empty net, instead deflecting the ball away from goal.

9'

Miszta, aged 19 and making his European debut tonight, punches Dewsbury-Hall's corner clear.

9'

The first bit of Leicester, good work from Castagne and Perez down the right allowing the ;latter to slip a pass seeking Daka and win a corner.

8'

Recently, Soyuncu has looked more secure on the right of a back three, but he's on the left today and needs to find his bearings quickly.

7'

Leicester haven't got going yet.

6'

Again, Johansson dashes into the space behind Soyuncu, clipping a cut-back for Martins, whose shot is easily saved by Schmeichel.

4'

As noted by Steve McManaman in commentary, last season, Leicester ought to have done better that they did in this competition than they did. It didn't matter in the end because they won the FA Cup,but they should be going all-out in this.

2'

VAR checks to see if the Tielemans challenge was a penalty, and correctly concludes that it was not.

1'

There's a pretty decent row in the ground, people bouncing even down the sides, and here comes Johansson, racing in behind Soyuncu at inside-right, cutting across Tielemans who buffets him just enough and not too much. Then Amartey slides in with two feet, doing enough to win the ball while avoiding the man, and the resultant shot runs wide.

1'

And away we go.

17:45

The Leicester players and Andre Martins take the knee. Scumbags in the crowd boo.

17:42

And here they come...

17:42

The players are tunnelled....

17:40

It's cold and miserable in Warsaw, a mate in the ground informs me, and the atmosphere inside the ground should be equally bracing.

17:37

There they are, the lads.

17:33

We're watching VT of Leicester's defending, to show that they're leaving too much space in behind. Without Fofana's pace, there's no one to cover, so perhaps the back three will drop a little deeper, with the full-backs pushing on.

17:30

Brendan Rodgers tells BT that Evans and Iheanacho were both down to play, and he changed the formation because they're both unavailable. He praises Iheanacho in particular, also saying he's getting ready for the weekend, then goes on to discuss how inexperienced the club is in Europe as a whole - if Harvey Barnes scores tonight, he'll become the club's all-time leading scorer in continental competition.

17:27
17:25

Emile Heskey is also on BT and says Dewsbury-Hall is left-footed, good on the ball and a decent player.

17:24
17:24
17:21

I should've noted, Daka is probably playing because of a passport situation that prevented Kelechi Iheanacho from entering into Poland. I wonder if that might turn out to be serendipitous.

17:18

Robbie Savage is on BT and seems to have come as Pitt the Younger.

17:13

I've not seen Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall play, so I'm looking forward to seeing him too. I wonder if Youri Tielemans, who looks to be playing at the base of midfield, will get the best from himself there, but Boubakary Soumare can also drop in so that might be a decent partnership.

17:13
17:11

I'm really looking forward to seeing Patson Daka, who looks an absolute player. Alongside him, Perez is in dreadful form, but as a pair they can cause Legia's back three plenty of problems.

17:08

Leicester, meanwhile, are 13th in the Premier League, a poor effort for a squad so talented, and make six changes to the team that needed a late goal to earn a 2-2 draw at home to Burnley. Ricardo, Bertrand, Ndidi, Lookman, Vardy and Barnes drop to the bench, with Amartey, Dewsbury-Hall, Castagne, Thomas, Daka and Perez come in.

17:04

Last time out, Legia won 1-0 in Moscow, a very decent effort, but currently sit fourth-bottom of the Ekstraklasa with nine points from even games.

17:00

I guess this is fairly niche, but those of us who spend our time looking at team XIs on Twitter will be both mystified and gratified by Legia's expression. Yes, they'll be playing 3-3-2-1-1, but, er, who are they all?

16:56
16:55
16:51

Let's have some teams....

16:48

This isn't something we say that often about Europa League group stages, but this is a really big game for Leicester. Their draw with Napoli was creditable and entertaining, but they've still to go to the San Paolo, likewise to Moscow, games that are easily loseable. On top of that, they're not in great form and are already struggling to contest the Champions League places, but their best is more than good enough for a proper tilt at this trophy. A win tonight and they'll feel that qualification is likely; a defeat, and there'll be a lot of work to do.

16:45

Afternoon all and welcome to Legia Warsaw v Leicester!
