Moyes spoke of it being a happy club in his pre-match press conference - and he's not wrong! There's definitely a feel-good factor about West Ham right now.

West Ham are oozing with confidence now. It's looking very much like three wins from three.

61'

Almost four. West Ham are in again but the visitors somehow get a block in to deny Vlasic.

55'

Yarmolenko cuts in from the right but balloons a shot way off target. A shake of the head sums up his disappointment with that one!

52'

West Ham still aren't having it all their own way but remain a very real threat at set pieces.

50'

Genk go close as a strike from the edge of the box is deflected into Areola's arms after more neat build up from Ito.

45+1'

One minute added.

45'

Almost some late joy for the hosts. Cresswell raids down the left once more but Lucumí gets there ahead of any Hammers players and is relieved to sees his goalkeeper drop on the ball.

43'

There have been one or two decent moments in this first period but on the whole it's lacked urgency. Moyes will no doubt demand more of his players after the interval.

41'

Bowen looks to engineer space for a shot on the edge of the area but sees it deflect behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.

39'
LONDON, ENGLAND - OCTOBER 21: Theo Bongonda of KRC Genk takes a shot which is blocked by Alphonse Areola of West Ham United during the UEFA Europa League group H match between West Ham United and KRC Genk at Olympic Stadium on October 21, 2021 in London,
37'

Onuachu rises well to meet a left-wing cross ahead of Areola but his looping header drops just wide of the far post.

36'

Genk press down the left but once again a West Ham body gets in the way when the ball is played into the area.

33'

Genk will feel they have had the slight edge so far tonight. West Ham will think they have a few more gears to go through. Still finely poised.

31'

Dawson makes a late charge to hurl himself at a left-wing corner but a nick off a defender means he can't get a clean header and sees his attempt fly wide.

29'

Hrosovsky produces a vital header to help Genk avert danger after West Ham had worked a good situation down the left.

27'

Onuachu looks to spin on to Ito's clever clipped pass but his first touch allows Dawson to mop up and clear West Ham's lines.

25'

Bowen somehow fails to connect cleanly from eight yards out after Lanzini and Johnson had carved the away side open down the right.

23'

Soucek escapes on the right side of the area after a lovely one-two but his driven cross doesn't give anyone a chance to make a dart towards the six-yard box.

21'

Soucek rises well to meet a right-wing cross at the far post but Vandevoordt gets down to push it away.

19'

Onuachu rises smartly to connect with a left-wing cross but can only flick a header wide.

17'

DID YOU KNOW? Genk have lost both of their away matches against English opponents to date - they were beaten 0-5 by Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League in 2011-12 before falling 1-2 to Liverpool in the same competition in November 2019.

15'

Genk open the hosts up once more. Areola comes way out of his area to thwart Bongonda whose clever run from the right flank almost paid dividends.

13'

Cresswell motors free down the left but his driven shot is deflected out for a corner. The Hammers are showing signs of raising their game now.

11'

West Ham respond with a slick move down the left but Vlasic's cross-shot flashes beyond the far post.

9'

GOOA - NO! Bongonda nods in from close range but it's ruled out for an offside earlier in the move. Ito sped free down the right and saw his cross deflect back for Bongonda but the Japanese was actually offside.

7'

UEFA STAT: West Ham boss David Moyes has only faced Belgian opposition once before during his managerial career - his Everton side were eliminated by Standard Liège in the first round of the UEFA Cup in 2008-09.

5'

It's been a pretty quiet start on the pitch. The crowd have created a great atmosphere but so far the players are yet to move beyond first gear.

3'

UEFA STAT: Rice has scored in both of West Ham's other UEFA Europa League matches this season - he could become just the third West Ham player to score in three consecutive appearances in major European competition (excluding qualifiers) after David Cross in 1980 and Brian Dear in 1965.

2'

The Hammers win an early free kick on the right wing. Bowen curves it in but Rice can't touch it into his own path at the near post and a defender sweeps in to clear.

KICK OFF! Genk get us underway.

19.55

RESULT: Elsewhere in Group H, Rapid Vienna beat Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 in an earlier kick off.

19.50

DID YOU KNOW? Genk have only lost four times in 19 away matches in the Europa League (W7 D8). They defeated SK Rapid Wien away from home on MD1 and are aiming to win consecutive away games in the competition for the first time.

19.45

A bit more on that West Ham team. Moyes rings the changes from the 1-0 win at Everton at the weekend with six pairs of fresh legs coming in. Alphonse Areola features between the sticks with Issa Diop, Craig Dawson, Vlasic, Manuel Lanzini and Andriy Yarmolenko also getting the nod from the start. Michail Antonio is given a rest and is not involved.

Manuel Lanzini celebrates
19.40

Nikola Vlasic: "It makes everything easier (if we win the group) because of the (format of the) knockout stages of the competition. The manager has told us he wants us to win every game, so we're really ambitious in the team and we are aware of our abilities. We can challenge in every game and most of the games, we can win. Genk are a good team. We've watched them and they're a team that likes to play with the ball and keep possession of it. If we are on our level, I think we should win this game."

Dmitri Barinov and Nikola Vlasic
19.35

More from van den Brom on the task of trying to upset West Ham: "They have some good players in the team and we have to take care of them, we have to take care especially in defence. But what I always say is, I am a Dutch guy and I'm always thinking about when we have the ball and when we have possession and if we can use possession to create chances."

19.30

Genk boss John van den Brom: “We have an attacking team, I have a good team with good players who can do something special because they showed me that so many times before. Now we're playing in a nice stadium, with a good atmosphere and a great pitch and it will be the next challenge for us."

19.25

David Moyes: "Everyone's enjoying the league games and Europe and I have to say I'm really enjoying the European experience. I want the players to go far in it. It would be great if we could top the group, but trying to make sure that we go through would be the main aim at the moment."
