Liverpool's Harry Kewell hopes the FA Cup final will erase the disappointment he suffered by missing out on most of the Champions League final 12 months ago. Kewell played for just 23 minutes of their penalty shoot-out win over AC Milan in Istanbul after

"When you look at it and considering what happened in Istanbul this is really going to be my first final and I just hope that everything goes well," said the Australia forward.
"I just want to be a big part of it," the 27-year-old told reporters ahead of the match against East London team West Ham United at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
"Even now people still remind me of what happened in the Champions League final. It's one of those things, but you have to forget about the past and turn the corner.
"Even though it was still a lovely moment to be part of, in terms of the club winning the Champions League, on a personal note it wasn't that good," he added.
"But we have this really big game coming up at the weekend against West Ham and it gives me the chance to make my own personal milestone by playing in a final."
Kewell returned to the first-team in October after surgery on his troublesome groin in the summer, and swiftly returned to the form that made him one of the most coveted attacking midfielders in Europe before his move to boyhood heroes Liverpool in 2003.

Liverpool have not been in the FA Cup final for five years, and with the 82-point haul being the biggest in their Premiership history Kewell is keen to look forward to a new era for the Anfield club.
"There was never any doubt in my mind that I would get another chance to play in a cup final with Liverpool.
"The club is always moving forward and when you play at a big club like Liverpool you know that you have to get to cup finals."
