The Blues overcame Blackburn 2-1 after extra-time at Old Trafford to win through to the first final to be played at the new Wembley in May, courtesy of goals from Frank Lampard and match-winner Michael Ballack.
The Portuguese told Sky Sports: "It's a very special feeling, I think the game was amazing. You finish the game, you win and you are crazy with happiness.
"Blackburn gave us a game, it was not a surprise to me, I was waiting for this - they fought like heroes. We are enjoying the moment and they are sad but I have big feelings for them."
"It's a big, big final with two unbelievable teams over the season."
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Petr Cech spoke of the Premiership champions' ability to keep going until the very end, a reference to the number of late winners scored by his team-mates over the course of the season.
"I think we never give up - we always believe we can make it even in the last seconds and today we did that again," Cech said, after Ballack had netted in the 109th minute.
"They [Blackburn] made a great effort and in the second half they had a few chances and they deserved to equalise. But we showed the character, we never gave up."
