Arsene Wenger has named a strong side for the visit of Lincoln City in the FA Cup.

The FA Cup represents Arsenal’s only real hope of securing silverware this season having been beaten 10-2 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League and Wenger has shown the Imps requisite respect by naming a strong side.

Apparent wantaway striker Alexis Sanchez starts in a front four that also includes Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud.

Mesut Ozil is fit enough only for a spot on the bench.

The National League leaders have captured the imagination with a run which started in the fourth-qualifying round against Guiseley.

The Imps upset Championship side Ipswich following a third-round replay and then Brighton ahead of beating Premier League Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor but face a tough task at the Emirates.

Matt Rhead returns to the starting XI having been rested in midweek for the four-goal win at Braintree Town.
