FIFA's The Best Awards: Who is nominated for men's and women's awards? Full list of nominees after Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi faces Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe at next week's FIFA The Best Awards, with eight categories to be decided for last year's action. The best men's player and coach, the best women's player and coach, the best goal, best fans and goalkeepers will all be decided on February 27. We take a look at the full list of nominees for the awards.

We have the full list of final nominee for this year's FIFA The Best Awards, featuring names such as Lionel Messi and Alexia Putellas.
FIFA’s the Best Football Awards are back, with the winners announced on February 27, 2023.
There are seven categories for players, each with their own winner to be decided.
The categories are: for the best men’s player, the best women’s player, the Puskas award for the best goal, the best men’s coach, the best women’s coach, the best men’s goalkeeper, and the best women’s goalkeeper.
There's also recognition for the best fan, or group of fans, with three representatives from the 2022 World Cup.
Here are the nominees for each award:

The Best FIFA Men's Player Award

  • Karim Benzema (Real Madrid and France)
  • Kylian Mbappe (PSG and France)
  • Lionel Messi (PSG and Argentina)

The Best FIFA Women's Player Award

  • Beth Mead (Arsenal and England)
  • Alex Morgan (San Diego Wave and USA)
  • Alexia Putellas (Barcelona and Spain)

The FIFA Puskas Award

  • Marcin Oleksy (Warta Poznan v Stal Rzeszow)
  • Dmitri Payet (Marseille v PAOK Thessaloniki)
  • Richarlison (Brazil v Serbia)

The Best FIFA Men's Coach Award

  • Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid)
  • Pep Guardiola (Manchester City)
  • Lionel Scaloni (Argentina)

The Best FIFA Women's Coach Award

  • Sonia Bompastor (Lyon)
  • Pia Sundhage (Brazil)
  • Sarina Wiegman (England)

The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper Award

  • Yassine Bounou (Sevilla and Morocco)
  • Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid and Belgium)
  • Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa and Argentina)
