The Clemson University goalkeeper saved efforts from Selma Bacha and Amelie Delabre to secure a 4-2 shoot-out win - and the bronze medal.
Manchester City's Georgia Stanway scored her sixth goal in six matches just after the second half started, turning on the edge of the box to lash the ball home past Justine Lerond.

Amelie Delabre came the closest to notching an equaliser from open play just after the hour mark, but fired her close-range effort against the legs of Maciver.
It was Emelyne Laurent who drew France level from the penalty spot, sending Maciver the wrong way in the 68th minute.
With the scores level at full-time, the match was decided on a shoot-out, with Stanway, Lauren Hemp, Chloe Peplow and Georgia Allen all scoring for Mo Marley's side.

The bronze medal - equalling the achievement of the senior side in 2015's Women's World Cup - is a consolation after losing 2-0 to Japan in the semi-final following an excellent campaign in the group stage in which they won seven points in their three games and a courageous effort against the Netherlands in the quarter-final, coming from behind to win 2-1.
