Football news - Fabio Capello names his three football geniuses, no room for Cristiano Ronaldo

Fabio Capello has named his three footballing geniuses, with Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo disregarded by the former Bianconeri manager.
The Italian manager described Ronaldo as "an extraordinary footballer" in an interview with Sky Sports Italia, but refused to credit him as a football "genius".
Capello praised the 34-year-old following his match-winning Champions League hat-trick against Atletico Madrid, but the former Juve player and manager does not deem Ronaldo as a "genius" like Lionel Messi.
"Ronaldo can help his teams win everything, but Messi is a genius and goes further.
Ronaldo is an extraordinary footballer, but Messi is a genius.
"I first came up against Messi when he was just 16 years of age and I was amazed.
"He already did what he does now, because he is a genius".
"Ronaldo beome a champion, but he's not a genius."
Capello continued to name the two other players who were on the same level as Messi, "there are three geniuses in football, Pele, Diego Maradona and Messi".
