Former England defender Ugo Ehiogu, 44, dies following cardiac arrest, Tottenham confirm

Former England and Aston Villa defender Ugo Ehiogu has died at the age of 44, Tottenham have confirmed.

Tottenham's U23 coach was taken to hospital after collapsing at training on Thursday and passed away in the early hours of Friday morning, Spurs confirmed on Twitter.
"It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Ugo Ehiogu, our Under-23 coach," the statement reads.
Meanwhile, head of coaching and player development at Spurs, John McDermott, said: "Words cannot express the shock and sadness that we all feel at the club.
"Ugo's immense presence will be irreplaceable. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his wife Gemma and his family."
Ehiogu, who spent most of his career at Aston Villa where he won the League Cup in 1996, won four England caps.
As well as playing more than 300 times for Villa, London-born Ehiogu played more than 100 times for Middlesbrough after signing for them in 2000.
He joined Tottenham's coaching staff in 2014.
