SAVE! - CELTIC 5-5 LEICESTER. Schmeichel dives to his left and pushes Forrest's effort away.
CELTIC 5-5 LEICESTER. Cracking pen from Okazaki. He hammers it high into the right side he is facing. Into sudden death we go!
CELTIC 5-4 LEICESTER. Christie follows Chilwell's lead with a clinical side-foot finish.
CELTIC 4-4 LEICESTER. So composed from Chilwell. Easily sends the keeper the wrong way.
CELTIC 4-3 LEICESTER. O'Connell finds the same corner as in the match.
CELTIC 3-3 LEICESTER. Danny Drinkwater does the business
CELTIC 3-2 LEICESTER. Allan with a cracking spot-kick.
CELTIC 2-2 LEICESTER. Wasilewski scores!
CELTIC 2-1 LEICESTER. Johansen coolly fires home.
CELTIC 1-1 LEICESTER. Fuchs squeezes a good effort into the right-hand corner he is facing. The keeper went the right way but couldn't get it.
CELTIC 1-0 LEICESTER. Cifti scores with a high effort despite Schmeichel diving the right way.
FT: Celtic 1-1 Leicester. PENALTIES it is after O'Connell cancelled out Mahrez's wonderful opener. The winning team will get two points, the losing side get one.
Two minutes have been added.
Okazaki flicks a header over the top after making a fine run to meet Simpson's clever near-post cross.
Celtic may have equalised but Mahrez has been the talk of social media.
Celtic fans enjoying themselves. It's been a competitive pre-season clash if nothing else.
PHOTO: Will he stay or will he go?
Time ticking down. Celtic still very industrious but lacking quality where it matters.
The Foxes spring forward but Fuchs can't find Musa with his low ball into the middle.
Have the away side settled for penalties? A dangerous game to play.
Leicester dropping deeper and deeper.
Musa still offering the pace Vardy does on the counter. The rest of the Leicester side working hard as ever to close down and keep Celtic at bay.
Celtic probing but the visitors remain dangerous on the counter.
Just under 15 minutes left - are we heading for pens?
CELTIC SUBS: Brown off, Rogic on. Griffiths off, Allan on. Armstrong off, Christie on.
Three more changes for Celtic.
Celtic look less than commanding under aerial pressure once more but manage to get it clear.
Drinkwater over a free kick on the right for Leicester.
The Foxes have a second wind now but will they have the cutting edge without Mahrez?
FOXES CHANGE: Fuchs on for Mahrez. Applause from all fans for Riyad. Is that his last Leicester appearance?
Okazaki holds it up well and sets Mahrez free. The Algerian is halted 25 yards out but Okazaki follows up and rasps a shot towards goal that is well blocked.
End to end stuff now. Drinkwater with a tactical foul in the centre circle to halt a Celtic break.
Those Celtic changes from a few moments ago...
More magic from Mahrez. He drifts into the right of the area, bamboozling his man once more before fizzing a ball into the area that Okazaki can't quite get on the end of.
Celtic suddenly looking the more likely. More tempo in their game. Leicester suffering from the changes?
As the changes take place, Foxes fans are pre-occupied with begging Mahrez to stay despite that Celtic leveller.
More changes, changes galore, for both sides.
GOAL! Eoghan O'Connell levels! The centre back coolly places a 25-yard shot into the bottom corner after the ball had pin-balled around the Leicester box.
It opens up for Griffiths 35 yards out but he blazes well wide of target.
Real pace from Musa there. An exciting signing that's for sure.
More danger for Celtic. Musa beats Gordon to a long ball on the right. The Foxes' new signing can't quite pick out a teammate to tap home and eventually it's worked to Schlupp who sees his low drive deflect wide.
More on how those Foxes changes will affect how they line-up.
Mahrez the magician.
HT changes: Celtic have brought Ambrose on for Lustig. Leicester have made a few: Mussa, Schmeichel, Schlupp and Simpson all on.
The right-wing set piece comes to nothing.
Mahrez in full flow now. He kills it dead on the right and draws a foul out of a stunned Armstrong. Free kick to the Foxes on the right.
Another reason for Leicester fans to pray that Mahrez stays!
GOAL! It's Mahrez and it was coming. The Algerian jinks down the right and into the area. He twists and turns before cutting back onto that trusty left foot and curving a wonderful effort into the far corner.
KICK OFF! Leicester restart the match.
HT: Celtic 0-0 Leicester. The visitors have had the better openings with Mahrez at the heart of their best moves.
The corner is half cleared. Griffiths rescues it for the Hoops and wins a corner on the opposite flank when his cross diverts behind.... Leicester eventually survive and that will probably be it for the first period.
Albrighton covers for Chilwell after Roberts had spun in behind on the right. Corner to Celtic...
Gray tumbled after showing some quick feet on the left. Another free kick... but this time Leicester take it quickly. They may have been better served to wait for Morgan and co to assemble in the area. Instead, the attack fizzles out.
Free kick to the visitors on the left flank 30 yards out. Albrighton over it... Eoghan O'Connell thumps a towering header clear for Celtic.
The danger, of course, comes when the Foxes break.... Celtic being caught in two minds in this first half.
A good spell here for Celtic. Can they make it count?
Griffiths hammers the 22-yard free kick towards the far post where Zieler pushes it away at full stretch. Fine effort from the Celtic hitman.
Free kick to Celtic just outside the penalty area after Dembele bamboozled Hernandez with some stepovers.
Leicester have definitely had the better openings. That was a wonderful run into the area by Chilwell. Caught Roberts cold with a late burst into the box.
CLOSE! Mahrez delivers a searching cross to the left of the area where Chilwell arrives to power a free header straight at Gordon.
Chilwell has looked like a great prospect at left back. Solid with a desire to get forward, just what you want in your full back.
Celtic deal with the set piece with more authority this time and move it away from the danger zone.
Mahrez leads another Leicester counter. The Algerian jinks at the defence before slipping a clever pass to Gray who sees his shot diverted over the bar via a defender's foot.
Better from Izaguirre on the left. He rolls it into the path of Griffiths but McGregor gets in his way and the pair make a hash of getting a shot away.
A case in point as the hosts work it out wide to Izaguirre on the left. Again he has plenty of time to dig out the right cross but overhits it. No worries for the Foxes.
A bit of a lull now. Celtic huffing and puffing but the final ball isn't up to scratch so far.
PHOTO: Riyad in red.
OBVIOUS STATEMENT ALERT: If Leicester lose Mahrez this summer it will have a HUGE impact. He is so key to making things happen in the final third.
Mahrez kills the ball dead and drives in from the right before curling a lovely effort inches past the far post.
Wonderful skills from Mahrez. The forward dances beyond three before seeing his shot well blocked. That's more like it from one of the PL's stand-out performers last term.
Izaguirre weaves some magic on the left and has all day to decide what to do with his cross. He hammers it across the six-yard box in the end with no Celtic player in sight. Wasteful in the end after some brilliance to begin with.
McGregor whips a free kick into the middle form the right but it's too close to Zieler. Still waiting for this match to catch fire.
Hernandez with another long throw from the right. Gordon comes and gets nowhere near it. There are a few hearts in mouths in the Celtic defence but they eventually clear.
An Albrighton delivery causes more concern in the Celtic box. The hosts haven't looked comfortable when Leicester have piled men forward.
The Foxes keeper is called into action again as he reacts smartly to deny Dembele after the forward had improvised to get a shot on the stretch away with his back initially to goal.
Griffiths preys upon a poor touch in the Leicester defence and slaloms at goal before curving a low shot from 25 yards out that is easily held by Zieler.
Quite even so far. Leicester look like they have the greater cutting edge on the break.
Mahrez with a bit of a hit and miss start here. A lovely pass in the lead up to Ulloa's chance, but apart from that he's been a bit rusty and wasteful. This time his cross into the middle is easily gathered by Craig Gordon.
Hernandez could well add something new to the Foxes attacking threat with his missile-like throws...
That was a great opening for Ulloa. He should have scored.
A slick Leicester counter sees Mahrez feed Drinkwater on the overlap. He whips a lovely ball to the far post for Ulloa who should score but is denied by a last-ditch challenge by Janko.
Celtic clear another Foxes corner but can't make anything of a promising break once they reach the halfway line.
Gray has looked like one to watch on the occasions I've seen snippets of him in PL action.
A left-wing corner for Leicester sees Morgan's blocked header drop to an unmarked Mahrez on the far right of the area, but the winger's drive flies harmlessly over the bar.
And some words from RODGERS: "Leicester won't be at the top end of their fitness. Neither are we but we are slightly ahead of them. They were magnificent last season and Celtic are the Scottish champions so it will be a good game."
RANIERI on today's test: "Celtic have already played Champions League games and friendlies.... I am very happy with the challenge. Preparation is important. I want to use plenty of players today because they have been working very hard in pre-season, so I will make some changes during the game. Pre-season has been very different this year. We now start playing international teams and it is very important to get the experience."
Brown with a strike from range but it's way off target.
Half chance for Leicester. Albrighton drifts free on the left and cuts it back beautifully for Drinkwater whose side-foot effort slams against a defender. The midfielder should have done better there.
Celtic pressing high early on. Dembele has time to take aim from 25 yards but sees his attempt well blocked.
Leicester and Celtic are two of 10 European teams competing in the transatlantic competition. The tournament sees a winner emerge from every match. If it finishes level after 90 minutes we go to penalties. It's three points for a win and zero for a defeat in normal time. If a side prevail via spot kicks they get two points while the losing team receive one.
Celtic get us underway against a Leicester side sporting a somewhat unfamiliar red kit.
Last summer the Foxes fans watched their team take on Lincoln, Mansfield, Burton, Rotherham and Birmingham. Fast forward 12 incredible months and after Oxford and Celtic (today) they meet PSG, Barcelona and Manchester United in the Community Shield.
More on those line-ups. Just three changes for Celtic despite the fact they face a trip to Kazakhstan to take on Astana in a UEFA Champions League qualifier on Wednesday night. The Foxes are without Vardy but three of their five new signings feature from the off along with Mahrez. Ron-Robert Zieler starts in goal with Spanish defender Luis Hernandez in defence and French midfielder Nampalys Mendy taking on the void left by Kante.
As for Celtic, it seems that Kolo Toure could be about to reunite with Brendan Rodgers.
Ranieri recently stated Mahrez would stay put - but strong rumours have emerged that the PFA players' player of 2016 could be set for Arsenal.
This promises to be an intriguing encounter with new Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers looking to maintain the momentum that saw his side progress in the Champions League after an initial first-leg stumble against minnows Lincoln Red Imps. For Claudio Ranieri, it is a chance to work with his title-winning players post-N'Golo Kante. The Italian would have expected an onslaught of interest in his stars and while French midfield enforcer, Kante has gone to Chelsea, hitman Jamie Vardy snubbed Arsenal to sign a new deal at the King Power Stadium. Rumours ahead of this one suggest Riyad Mahrez could yet make a big-money transfer though... More on that in a moment.
