On-loan Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford made his debut as Crystal Palace began their pre-season tour of South Africa with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Premier Soccer League side SuperSport United.

Palace captain Mile Jedinak opened the scoring with just three minutes played, poking home a flick-on from central defender Scott Dann.
South Korean international Lee Chung-yong doubled the Eagles' advantage, sliding the ball into the bottom corner after some poor goalkeeping from one-time South African international Ronwen Williams.
Palace were clearly too good for their hosts and Jordan Mutch made it an even more comprehensive scoreline just before the half-hour mark with a delightful run and chipped finish.
Striker Fraizer Campbell, who has been linked with a move away from the club, made it 4-0 four moments later after a deflected Jason Puncheon shot fell kindly into his path.
The second-half was a low-key affair by comparison although new loan signing Patrick Bamford did make his debut for the club, coming on as a half-time substitute.

Meanwhile, Swansea City played out a 1-1 draw in their friendly with Championship side Reading at Adams Park.
Swansea named a strong starting line-up, with Angel Rangel, Jonjo Shelvey and Gylfi Sigurdsson among those playing from the off.
After a goalless first half the game burst into life after half-time with both sides getting on the scoresheet within three minutes.
Striker Nick Blackman gave Wednesday the lead 40 seconds into the second period but Kyle Bartley levelled things up two minutes later. It was a return to the status quo after that, with neither side able to find a winner.
