Fred whips a free kick over the wall but it flies just a yard over the bar.

Rodriguez with a throw on the left, Milan work it right but it bounces back to the defence.

United are struggling to get out of their half now. I don't think it's a question of fitness, I think the problem is United's players.

Pereira kicks out - I think at Borini - and with the Italian offering him a hand, the United midfielder completely ignores him and walks off in a huff. That could turn into something zestier later.
Rojo stands up well to take the ball off Castilejo, as he chases a through ball.
Suso cuts in from the right but loops a cross to the back post which is far too high, and drifts out of play. Shaw is fouled on the left wing, and he takes a short pass back to the defence.

The match gets underway.
We're going to get going in the next six minutes, apparently.
This could be one of the last chances for United's spare players to prove their worth. Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling could leave in the coming days, but Andrea Pereira might go on loan if another midfielder arrives.
This is United's last pre-sseason game. Harry Maguire has not yet completed his £80 million deal, and you can read about why that isn't enough for them to succeed here.
