Reports on Thursday suggested Crystal Palace youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek could get his first England start against Germany on Friday, amid a growing injury crisis.

The 21-year-old is one of several fresh faces to be named in manager Gareth Southgate's squad for England's international friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
With Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Harry Winks ruled out of the initial 25-man squad and Fabian Delph, Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson since pulling out, Loftus-Cheek is hotly tipped to get more playing time than might otherwise have been expected.
Speaking at a press conmference on Thursday, Southgate told reporters: "This period between qualification and the finals has to have an element of experimentation.
"If we don't try things in these games, when are we going to try things? Germany took a really young team to the Confederations Cup - I thought it was brilliant what they did."
Fellow Chelsea-loanee Tammy Abraham and Liverpool's Joe Gomez also received their first call-ups to the senior squad.
Southgate said: "I've really enjoyed the week. New players coming in and two great games to look forward to. We'll take more from these games than any of the qualification games."
