The 27-year-old will finally complete a six-month ban on September 14 for punching Internazionale's Nicolas Burdisso at the end of a Champions League game on March 6.
He was originally given a seven-month ban by FIFA after the unsavoury scenes at the Mestalla, only to have it reduced to six on appeal.
Nonetheless, Los Che will have to start the season without the Spanish centre-back, who was unveiled by Mallorca on Friday.
