Navarro heads to Mallorca

Valencia have agreed to loan defender David Navarro to Real Mallorca, even though he will not be able to start the season due to an outstanding suspension.

The 27-year-old will finally complete a six-month ban on September 14 for punching Internazionale's Nicolas Burdisso at the end of a Champions League game on March 6.
He was originally given a seven-month ban by FIFA after the unsavoury scenes at the Mestalla, only to have it reduced to six on appeal.
Nonetheless, Los Che will have to start the season without the Spanish centre-back, who was unveiled by Mallorca on Friday.
He becomes Mallorca's fifth signing of the summer after German Lux, Borja Valero, Pierre Webo and Francisco Molinero.
