Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has denied the club want to sign Samuel Eto'o and claims they are now passive observers of Cristiano Ronaldo's next move.

Los Merengues' supremo was quizzed on Eto'o after rumours in the Spanish media linking the Cameroon striker with a return to the Spanish capital.
But, just as was the case when the Barcelona were linked with Robinho, the 'non-aggression' pact between the two sides stands.
"There is no Eto'o case. I do not know where this has come from because it is logical that Barcelona would not sell a player to Real Madrid," Calderon told Marca.
"We have a very strong squad that has just won the league. If we do end up signing players, there will be very few and they will be very good."
Having been very vocal throughout the summer over their pursuit of Manchester United star Ronaldo, the Madrid president now feels that he has done enough and must sit and wait.
While the Portuguese recovers from surgery on his ankle, Calderon knows that the only way a transfer is now possible is if the player pushes for a move.
"We have nothing to say on this theme. We are just spectators, a passive observer in the matter," added Calderon.
