Rosell denies 'reckless' €40m embezzlement claim

Sandro Rosell has called allegations that he ‘misappropriated’ funds from Neymar’s transfer ‘reckless’ and says he is not worried by them.

The Barcelona President has reportedly had a legal complaint filed against him by club member Jordi Cases, accusing him of diverting €40m from Neymar’s €57m transfer from Santos.
However, following on from a reported source with the Catalans denouncing the claim, the President has responded similarly.
“It is a reckless complaint. I am calm, I am worried about this zero,” Rosell responded briefly to reporters at a publicity event this week.
