The former Toulouse striker tells eurosport.com that he dreams of playing at the Stade de France and returning to the elite of French football.
“I am so delighted to have reached the last four of the Coupe de la Ligue,” Faure told eurosport.com. “I am sure we can create another upset and qualify for the final," he continued.
“It would be great for our squad and the region. But we have to beat Bordeaux, who are a Champions League club."
“It won't be easy, but with the help of our fans, we can make it."
“I have never played at the Stade de France, and I have to say that it is a dream to play at the famous stadium.
“Playing the final against Le Mans, who didn't offer me a contract extension last season, would be a great personal revenge.
“I want to prove I can make the step-up to Ligue 1, after having played for Toulouse and Le Mans in the top division."
Faure openly admits that he retains an element of bitterness about his top-flight experience, which saw him fall-out with Toulouse staff before being shipped off to Le Mans, where he also did not quite make the grade.
“That is true that I have a love-hate relationship with the Ligue 1 clubs," he said.
“The problem is my bad reputation, caused by some Toulouse directors. Clubs believe I am a bad boy but that is not reality, I am a pro," he insisted.
“Reims are a good side and I am happy to be here.
“Anyway, I am lucky to be a footballer, people don't usually make a living from their passion.”
