Rame ready for Reims

Exclusive! Bordeaux captain Ulrich Rame expects a difficult challenge at Reims in the first semi final of the Coupe de la Ligue tonight. The former France international goalkeeper wants Bordeaux to show they are mentally ready for battle.

“A semi final is always special, you don't have to ask yourself questions,” Rame declared.
“We are playing away, we are favourites… but to win, we have to show that we really want to qualify.
Despite Reims being a division below UEFA Cup hopefuls Bordeaux, Rame is wary of their giant-killing abilities after they beat Rennes1-0 in the last round.
“Reims have enormous qualities, they have accumulated good results recently," Rame declared.
“They are a well-structured team, balanced, strong, with good strikers.
“They are on a good run of form, which is the ingredient that the Ligue 1 clubs hate the most.
“Bordeaux have to show we are in the best mindset, it is an additional challenge.”
