Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been named in the starting line-up for the first time since moving to Liverpool from Arsenal in the summer.
The 24-year-old has been named in a much-changed Liverpool XI for their League Cup tie against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Philippe Coutinho and Dominic Solanke also start.
Fellow Premier League big-hitters Tottenham Hotspur are also in action in the cup on Tuesday, welcoming Barnsley to Wembley Stadium.
Mauricio Pochettino has also rung the changes, but has sprung a slight surprise by picking first-teamers Jan Vertonghen and Dele Alli in the starting side.
