Manchester United will be firm favourites to make the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup after they were drawn against League One side Charlton at Old Trafford in the last-eight. Meanwhile, Manchester City will travel to Southampton and Newcastle will host Leicester. Nottingham Forest will entertain Wolves. The quarter-finals will take place in the week commencing 9 January.

Manchester United will host League One side Charlton Athletic in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
United knocked out Burnley 2-0 on Wednesday, while Charlton – the only non-Premier League team left in the competition - beat Brighton on penalties on the same night.
Manchester City’s reward for beating rivals Liverpool 3-2 in a lively encounter on Thursday is a trip to St Mary’s where they will face Southampton.
Nottingham Forest will host Wolves while Newcastle will entertain Leicester City at St James’ Park.
The quarter-finals will take place in the week commencing 9 January.
