Leyton Orient’s owner conjured up a strange punishment for his underperforming players… booking them into a hotel for a week.

Francesco Becchetti came up with the novel concept to arrest a run of one win in 12 matches.
It’s not a particularly cheap ploy – the club’s players and staff are staying at the £100-a-night Marriott Hotel in Waltham Abbey, where they have been housed since Sunday evening following the 3-1 defeat to Hartlepool.
Hendon is hoping the stay will have the desired effect when the O's host York this Saturday.
"The lads are fine. They are not under lock and key. They've been able to go home and see their families, then they come back and we eat together. If we get a good result against York we might stay there to the end of the season.
"The soon-to-be Mrs Hendon isn't happy, she wants me at home, but she understands."
Becchetti has employed unusual methods at Orient before, including making the squad train for an extra 10 days after they were relegated at the end of last season.
Despite their shaky run, Orient are still seventh in League Two.
