As for Real Mallorca, things look fairly grim. They now lie slumped at the foot of La Liga after Deportivo's result earlier today and looked deflated and rather uninterested tonight. That is worrying for them.

A very impressive performance by Barcelona tonight. A warning for PSG who will have watched this, no doubt. Fabregas, Sanchez and Tello the stand out performers. Great to see Abidal and Vilanova back where they should be.

Regardless of how good Barca have been Mallorca have been dire tonight. You have to worry for them as La Liga's bottom side. I can't see them mounting a fightback between now and the end of the season on this basis.

Song has played well tonight in the Busquets role. He struggled in Spain when he first arrived from Arsenal but has grown into the role and has looked comfortable there tonight.

What is most impressive about this Barca side on the pitch now is that they're playing in exactly the same way as Barca's first selection would. Young players like Thiago, Deulofeu, Tello etc are all very technical players, bred to play for this team.
