Messi and Neymar will grab all the headlines from this game, but for me Rafinha has been just as impressive in the centre of midfield. I'd like to see him get ore first team chances.

Elche have completely dropped off the pace since losing Fajr to a red card. Which is unsurprising I suppose, given the quality of opposition they are playing. So difficult with 10 men.

GOOOOOOOAL! Elche 0 Barcelona 5 (88 mins - Lionel Messi). And there's five. Messi throws a little shimmy into his run into the box and he rolls the ball into the bottom corner. Easy.

Correction: it was actually Jonathas who crashed into Busquets. He's back on his feet now and Elche will need him to be fully fit in the second half of the season if they are to avoid relegation.

That looked like a sore one. Busquets clashes with Adrian in the centre of midfield and the two players crumple to the ground. They are both receiving treatment. They just ran into each other.

Rafinha has been very impressive in the centre of midfield. He has a bright future at Barcelona, and has been very prudent on the ball so far tonight. He is a very tidy footballer.

Barcelona win a freekick on the edge of the Elche penalty area, but Messi's effort is tame and is comfortably saved by Tyton. The little Argentine is capable of so much better from that range.

YELLOW CARD: David Lomban (Elche)

With 10 men Elche are offering very little on the counter attack now, and are struggling to chase down the ball when Barcelona have it. They're on their last legs now all over the pitch.

Pedro is camped out on the left side at the moment, with Messi on the right. It means that Neymar is being played as the central striker by Enrique, and the Brazilian is thriving there.

That seemed slightly harsh on the home side. Pasalic looks to be hacked down on the edge of the Barcelona box, but the referee waves away his claims only to award a freekick to Barca for a soft handball.

Messi and Neymar are enjoying themselves now. The two of them are running the show, with the Elche defence struggling to cope with them. To be fair, not many can cope with them in this form.

In amongst the celebration from Neymar's second goal Barcelona managed to sneek on Roberto as a sub. The young midfielder has been in good form of late. This is another chance to impress.
