That's FULL-TIME, and a dominant display from the hosts. Four goals for Luis Suarez once again, plus a trio of penalties - Sporting Gijon might feel aggrieved as they played brightly in spells but they couldn't get near Barca tonight. Thanks for your company.
Well, Barcelona have now secured themselves their place at the top of the table, I think it's fair to conclude.
GOAL! That's a fourth for Suarez - again! He's played in beautifully by Messi, and strikes acutely between the keeper and the post.
GOAL! Dreadful penalty from Neymar, a stuttering run-up, striking the keeper's feet but it's into the net.
Vranjes was walking a tightrope from early on after his clashes with Neymar in the opening minutes.
It's a nudge into the shoulder of Neymar from Vranjes, who's sent off for a second yellow card.
ANOTHER PENALTY TO BARCELONA!
Castro on, Guerrero off.
Odd atmosphere now. The Barca fans are sitting back and having a bit of a wave.
GOAL! Hat-trick for Suarez - two-thirds from the penalty spot.
Oh. That's another penalty. Neymar bounces off Sanabria and the referee points to the spot.
GOAL! And Suarez fires that into the roof of the net - Canella had given that away with a handball.
PENALTY TO BARCELONA!
Lovely, lively stuff from Messi, picking up a flick from Neymar, juggling the ball before turning to strike - and that's out by Canella for a corner.
Booking for Luis Hernandez for a challenge on Neymar, and that's a suspension for him.
Canella replaces Lopez on the left.
Bartra replaces Pique.
Replays raise a question mark over Suarez's onside status.
GOAL! Ah, lovely from Barcelona, excellent passing after a surge from Messi, great team move and Suarez gets that, angling the tap-in at the far post.
Perez gets a break, replaced by Sanabria.
Oh dear. That was dreadful from Messi. Over the bar.
It's about 30 yards out.
Neymar and Messi prepare for a free kick by doing up their bootlaces.
Neymar's got space again, and he's narrowing the angle, taking his time, and opts to fire at Cuellar.
That's off an arm in the box, there, but Barcelona have no penalty - just a corner.
Strength from Messi there holding off the encroaching Sporting Gijon defenders.
And there's Messi again, switching up his speed and dancing round the defence, but once again firing wide.
Horrendous shot from Iniesta about 35 yards out, catching the ball underneath with his toe and lofting it high over the bar.
Messi races into the box, stepping up the speed as he gets close to the box, but fires past the post.
Perez has been very bright for Sporting Gijon this evening - now he has two men on him to check his progress down the right.
Messi has the ball in the back of the net again, but Cuellar has been bundled off the ball by Suarez and that won't stand.
...decent throw into the box, but nobody gets on the end of it.
Luis is preparing for a long throw into the box, drying it on his shirt...
Dani Alves replaces Sergi Roberto as we begin the second half.
Well, it's half-time. Let's reflect and regroup.
WHAT A CHANCE FOR SPORTING GIJON! What on earth was happening there? They had about three chances cleared off the line, Mascherano making the final save - and it did look like there might have been a handball in there from Pique.
Bit of a mess from Neymar, running into dead end after a defence-splitting pass from Messi.
Neymar, under the cosh thus far, gives some stick to Perez.
Dani Alvez is warming up.
There goes Neymar - it eventually drops back to Iniesta, running in at the edge of the box and firing high.
Some rather optimistic defending from Sporting Gijon, with a variety of defenders throwing random body parts towards the ball. It's effective for the time being.
Speculative shot there as Menendez runs on to it at the far post - he can't direct that.
Perez cuts it back into the box but Pique sticks a boot in to get that out of danger.
Drums still present, but atmosphere a little more muted.
Sergio Roberto gets his shot curling but too much lift on that - Barcelona have grasped the game again.
Vranjes's multiple sins have caught up with him - yellow card for the latest foul.
Now Suarez is on the ground - but he finds himself having a free kick given against him.
He's in a heap after the challenge from behind courtesy of Vranjes.
Neymar is on the ground and in apparent agony.
Sporting Gijon having a good little spell here - Barcelona have taken their foot off the pedal.
Sporting Gijon are quick on the break, though - Halilovic finds his shot deflected away for a corner.
Sporting Gijon are packing the box in numbers to defend against the multiple Barcelona threats.
Perez's cross from the right wing is blocked - throw to Real Sporting in a dangerous area, not far from the corner flag.
Good save from Cuellar with his feet - Messi has too much space in the box and he rifles off a shot.
Meanwhile, as the clock is at "14", there's plenty of applause across the ground in honour of Johan Cruyff.
Jordi Alba's ball across the box from the left is a touch behind Suarez.
GOAL! Well, would you credit it. Lionel Messi gets another to add to his tally, heading home after the keeper races out and leaves himself stranded in the middle of the box.
CHANCE for Sporting Gijon! Menendez calls for it and it's played a little too far back for his liking - straight at the keeper.
All Barcelona at the moment, all the possession they could want.
Drums are beating loudly around the ground as Barca fans start to urge their team on after that bright start.
Sergio upends Lichnovsky. That'll sting a touch. No booking.
Suarez slips in the box but regains himself and exchanges passes with Messi.
Roberto across the face of goal - and Messi heads over! A lovely exchange of passes and lots of space in the box.
Handshakes and a quick photo, and we're just about ready to go.
The teams are coming out on to the pitch.
So Real and Atleti have both won today - Barcelona need to win to secure their place at the summit.
