FULL TIME! Las Palmas 1-2 Barcelona. Luis Enrique’s side extend their lead in La Liga to nine points. Already it seems certain that the league title is going to Camp Nou again. Luis Suarez opened the scoring and should have had three or four. Still, Neymar also got on the scoresheet to cancel out the equaliser from Willian Jose. Barca go into their match against Arsenal with the wind in their sails.

Late, late into the game and chances at both ends, but neither team can make it stick. Both sets of supporters consumed by nerves.
CLOSE! Vermaelen with a diving header in the box to clear from a Las Palmas cross. Fantastic defending.
BOOKING. Dani Alves clatters into his man late to earn a caution.
Messi takes the subsequent free-kick. His effort form 25 yards clips the top of the wall and flies wide.
Now Mesa goes into the book for pulling Suarez back from behind. A sneaky one.
JUST WIDE! So close from the home side. It’s a lovely move involving Mesa and Jose before the ball comes to the feet of Araujo. He pulls the trigger and sees his low effort sneak just wide of the post.
It doesn’t look like Barcelona are going to drop points today, which would extend their lead at the top of the table to nine points, having played a game more than Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, who are a further point back.
Araujo, just on as a substitute, curls one wide of the upright for Las Palmas.
Change for Las Palmas as Sergio Araujo comes on for El Zhar, who has been ineffective.
It’s strangely been a bit of a frustrating day for Suarez. He opened the scoring but has wasted a whole host of chances since. Messi and Ronaldo would have gobbled them up. Still, he is now four goals clear of Ronaldo in the Pichichi race.
Pfffffft. Only just. But nice of the Madrid-based media to point it out.
Another good chance passes Suarez by. Alves sets him free over the top and he completely misses the ball when he tries to flick it over the keeper. He should have had a hat-trick today.
A change for Barca, and Thomas Vermaelen comes on for Roberto, which means Mascherano will move into midfield.
Aleix Vidal and Thomas Vermaelen are both warming up for Barca. Could a change be in the offing.
The match has gone into a bit of a lull. It needs some Messi magic to spice things up a bit. Surely he won’t want to be the only member of the MSN who doesn’t score today.
Alves hares after a rather wild pass and pings the ball across goal but the lino spots his connection came after the ball had crossed the line.
Neymar races clear on goal but the flag has been raised for offside. Rightly so, according to the replay. Las Palmas were exposed if he was through there.
HUGE CHANCE! Sergi Roberto makes a mess of things in the box and Barca are almost punished when Viera has a curling effort saved by Bravo and Jose puts the rebound into the side netting.
Former Liverpool forward Nabil El Zhar tries to slalom between two Barcelona players and wriggle into the box but can’t pull off his audacious move.
Alba looks alert to charge forward 10 feet and cut out a clever looking cross to his side of the box. He can’t punish Las Palmas on the break though.
Barcelona push for a third as they mount a succession of passing moves. Suarez has another chance but he can’t connect with a spectacular overhead kick.
CHANCE! Neymar bisects the home defence with a gorgeous ball through to Dani Alves at the back post, before he heads square to Suarez. The striker must score, but Varas somehow smothers his shot from close range.
Bigas goes in a bit enthusiastically to try and win the ball from Rakitic in midfield. The Croat shields the ball with his body but is brought down in clumsy fashion. Just a free-kick, no booking.
KICK OFF! The second half gets underway.
Barcelona make a change. Turan, on a booking, is replaced in midfield by Ivan Rakitic.
HALF TIME. Barcelona lead 2-1 thanks to goals from Suarez and Neymar – which means only one member of the MSN hasn’t scored yet. They’ve not been at their best though, with Las Palmas battling vigorously and scoring themselves through Willian Jose. Messi’s inevitable goal in the second half should settle this though.
CHANCE! Las Palmas are going down fighting. Mascherano looks rather relieved as a thumping effort flies wide of the upright from Mesa.
Las Palmas won’t give up and they attack the Barca box with renewed vigour. Crosses come in and David Garcia has a shot blocked by the arm of Alves, but it was against his chest so nothing doing.
CHANCE! Suarez has so much time and space in the box but instead of going for goal he wants to get his pal Messi on the scoresheet. He cuts back and squares for the Argentine, who sees his shot blocked in the box.
Typically immaculate, even if he doesn't have his customary goal just yet.
GOAL! Las Palmas 1-2 Barcelona! Neymar puts the visitors back in front with his 18th goal in La Liga this season. Suarez did the hard work when driving into the box and laying the ball off for Messi, who saw his close-range effort saved expertly but Varas. But Neymar was on hand to follow up and drill his shot home.
It’s been a very impressive performance from Las Palmas, who haven’t been afraid to attack Barcelona and are giving it a good go against the best team on the planet. Barca have been restricted to a handful of decent chances.
It’s a smart free-kick as Las Palmas dink it long to the back post and Mesa rises highest to loop a header at goal. Bravo has to touch it over the bar.
Arda Turan takes one for the team as he cynically brings Momo down from behind. Las Palmas have a free-kick 40 yards from goal...
Dani Alves manipulates the ball beautifully as he flicks a pass into the box but Messi can’t get there ahead of Varas in the Las Palmas goal. Nice idea.
BIG MISS! Suarez passes up a golden opportunity for his second of the match. Barca have a free-kick to the left of the box and Messi’s curling delivery picks out the run of Suarez perfectly. But with the goal at his mercy, he heads wide, and holds his head in his hands as he contemplates the chance that has passed him by. A shocker.
Yeah he's had a decent season that Suarez chap.
TROUBLE! It’s kicking off here. Roque Mesa heats into a heated argument with Neymar after bodycheking the Brazilian and sending him collapsing to the floor. He gets in his face and the Barca players crowd their opponent in reaction.
CHANCE! Andres Iniesta collects the cut-back from Arda Turan but Las Palmas keeper Javi Varas punches his 20-yarder away from goal.
Here's how the Suarez goal unfolded....
CHANCE! Las Palmas break after the Barca corner comes to nothing and when the ball is switched to the left to find Momo, he attacks the box before thumping an effort over the bar. Fantastic.
Now Barcelona attack in an engrossing game and Messi gets to the ball ahead of Suares before seeing his dinked effort turned behind for a corner.
Neymar has to drop into defence to help Barcelona and Mascherano as Las Palmas launch another attack. The Brazilian forward carries the ball out of Barcelona’s third and to the half-way line before drawing a foul.
Javier Mascherano is forced into a rather rushed clearance as Las Palmas swing the ball in from the right wing. The hosts are 18th in the table, remember.
GOAL! Las Palmas 1-1 Barcelona! The crowd go wild as forward Willian Jose gets the home side back level. He just stays onside to muscle his marker off the ball and slot home from a clever flick from Viera.
For those keeping track, that's Suarez's 41st goal of the season already. Quite remarkable. Arsenal will have a big task in keeping him quiet.
Well, you already fear for poor Las Palmas. How many do Barcelona fancy scoring today?
GOAL! Las Palmas 0-1 Barcelona! Luis Suarez claims his 25th league goal of the season to get Barca off to a flyer. Jordi Alba with the assist as he caresses a low cross into the box and Suarez thumps it home at the back post.
Jonathan Viera lines up a free-kick from all of 40 yards. He catches it fairly well but Claudio Bravo watches it round the post with little trouble.
Neymar gets on the ball early and links up with another electric blue shirt but the Brazilian can’t open up the home defence.
KICK OFF! Here we go. What ridiculousness can Barca's front three get up to this afternoon?
There, by the power of social media, are today’s teams. Barca aren’t messing around ahead of their Champions League match against Arsenal, will a full team out, including the best front three of all time.
