Carlos was asked by Spanish newspaper AS who he believed was the best out of the trio, and the former Brazil left-back had no doubt whatsoever.
"People are always talking about the same thing [Messi and Ronaldo] but for me it’s Neymar,” Carlos told AS.
“Barcelona’s Neymar does a lot more than Brazil’s Neymar because the team is better established. Brazil are building a team for the Copa America."

Former Barcelona and Real Madrid star Luis Figo was also asked the same question, but his verdict was much less clear.
"It is like choosing between white truffle and caviar," Figo told AS, presumably unable to decide between them.
Neymar scored 39 goals in all competitions last season, while Ronaldo and Messi scored 61 and 58 respectively.
It is clear where Carlos’s allegiances lie and so it should not come as a surprise that he has thrown his support behind his countryman. However, it is very hard to agree with his views given all that Messi and Ronaldo have achieved. Neymar has every chance of coming close to the achievements of the pair in the future, but right now he is not in the same discussion. Still, Carlos may well be right about Neymar as the years roll on.
