Barcelona have announced they will continue their fight to get Luis Suarez's two-match ban overturned by going to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Suarez is set to miss the Copa del Rey final after being sent off in last week's semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid having picked up two late bookings.
Barca have already failed with two domestic appeals against the suspension but the Catalan giants have confirmed they will now go to CAS.
A club statement read: "After the Appeals Committee rejected Barcelona's claim against the two-match suspension of Luis Suarez, the club shall be referring the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
"The appeal is based on the argument that the player never struck the opposing player 'in a reckless manner' as stated in the match official's report."
Suarez, who scored Barca's goal in the 1-1 draw at the Nou Camp, received his two bookings just three minutes apart, being sent off in the final minute of the match.
Title holders Barca won the semi-final 3-2 on aggregate and will face Alaves in the final in May.
