Good afternoon and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE coverage of the Spanish Liga fixture between Real Valladolid and Atletico Madrid. We'll bring you all the action as it happens. Kick off is at 15:00 GMT.
La Liga / Matchday 8
Estadio Municipal José Zorrilla / 06.10.2019
Simeone and his Atletico Madrid players will reflect on a missed opportunity. This was a chance to go second in La Liga heading into the international break. However, now they could fall to fourth place if one of Barcelona or Sevilla win this evening. This was a really poor affair. Not fun to watch.
End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Real Valladolid 0-0 Atletico Madrid
Neither team deserves to win this match. It has been a low quality affair. Sandro could have found the net from the penalty spot, but his effort sums up how bad this game has been.
Free header! That was a chance for Real Valladolid to grab all three points. Guardiola was left at the back post, but Lodi did just enough to put him off and his mistimed header bounces well wide.
There will be three minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
Another yellow card, this time for Lemar on Plano as the hosts came forward on the counter.
Both teams waited and waited and waited to make their move, but this match has finally burst into life as time runs out for either to claim all three points. Atleti getting desperate.
A chance for the hosts! Saul missed his header in the middle, but Joaquin couldn't quite stretch far enough and his shot goes just wide. The flag was up for offside, but there was no offside. It would have stood.
Sergio booked! Trippier barged Rubio off the pitch as the two players challenged for the ball. Rubio then clattered into Sergio. The Real Valladolid boss is then booked for making his displeasure known!
One final change for the home side and it's Michel who comes off for Anuar.
Are Atletico Madrid finally turning the screw on Real Valladolid? They are seeing plenty of the ball and are peppering the opposition with crosses into the area. They took their time!
Off the inside of the post! That was inches away being the opening (winning?) goal! Trippier's cross bounced through to Correa at the back post, but he crashes his shot off the inside of the post! What a chance!
Real Valladolid have the second smallest budget in La Liga, so a point against a team like Atletico Madrid would be considered a great success and would keep them mid-table.
Atletico Madrid haven't been able to light the fuse this afternoon. There have been hints that a charge was coming from the capital club, but it has never really fully materialised.
This would be a missed opportunity for Atletico Madrid here if they fail to pick up three points. A win would put them into second place in the Liga table after Granada's loss yesterday.
Costa has been very poor this afternoon, which makes it all the more surprising that Felix and Morata have been hooked by Simeone before him. Has offered next to nothing.
There has been a lack of goals in this match, but no shortage of yellow cards. Rubio is booked.
There's the change that the Atleti fans wanted. Herrera comes on for the final 15 minutes.
