Two goals in the opening 10 minute suggested this was going to be a goal-fest. That didn't materialise, but we did get a very interesting match between two teams who have the title in their sights this season. Lopetegui will surely be pleased with how his Sevilla side played. Barcelona still a work-in-progress under Koeman.

- End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla
Is there time for one last scoring chance? Barcelona are on top at the moment. It seems Sevilla have settled for a point and they might just have secured it as Messi shoots over.
All of a sudden, Barcelona have cranked things up in stoppage time. Can they find a winner? There was a penalty shout a few moments ago, but not given. Messi went down in the box.
Big chance for Trincao! The summer signing was played in down the right channel, the angle was relatively tight, but it was still a good chance. He could only draw the save from Bono at the near post, though!
There will be five minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
- Yellow cardNemanja GudeljSevilla FC
A late yellow card for Gudelj. Is there a late winner left in this match? These two teams look well balanced at the moment.
- OffLuuk de JongSevilla FC
- OnCarlos FernándezSevilla FC
Lopetegui makes his final change and on comes Fernandez for the final few minutes.
- OffJordánSevilla FC
- OnOliver TorresSevilla FC
Another change for Sevilla and on comes summer signing Torres.
Koeman still has one change he can use if he choose to. Dembele and Konrad have been sent to warm up down the touchline. Will either of the two wingers be introduced late on?
De Jong effort saved! Busquets makes progress down the right wing and gets a cross into the middle. De Jong was waiting for the delivery, but his effort on the slide is saved by Bono!
Messi shot is parried away! Good work from Dest down the left side sees Messi presented with a shooting opportunity 25 yards out, but the Argentine's strike is saved by Bono.
Rakitic's game is over. The Croatian comes off to be replaced by Gudelj.
The flow of this match has been disrupted somewhat by the injury to Alba and the subsequent changes that were made. What will the final 10 minutes hold? A winner for one of these teams?
Pjanic has only been on the pitch for a matter of minutes, but he has entered the referee's book for a late tackle.
Here's the change and Dest comes on for his Barcelona debut at left back!
Dest was only registered for this match hours before kick off and now the Barcelona teenager is about to get his debut for his new club having signed from Ajax during the week.
- OffPhilippe CoutinhoFC Barcelona
- OnMiralem PjanicFC Barcelona
Pjanic comes on for Barcelona. Is that designed to give them a bit more control in the middle?
Alba injury! Barcelona are going to be forced into a change here. Alba is coming off with an injury and Dest has been told to get ready. The American is about to make his Barca debut!
Kounde header! The Sevilla central defender was up from the back to get on the end of a corner kick deliveri, but he sends his header wide of the near post. That was a half chance.
Sevilla are giving Barcelona all sorts of problems at the back with their refusal to ease off their high press. Pique doesn't seem to know what to do with the ball when he gets it.
Rakitic curls wide! The space opened up for the Croatian 20 yards out, but Rakitic could only send his left-footed strike wide of the target. Sevilla are turning the screw on their opponents.
That was a let off for Barcelona. Sevilla are perhaps the better team at the moment. They are showing bravery in going after all three points rather than protecting what they have.
Off the crossbar! Barcelona rescued by the woodwork. En-Nesyri drove to the byline, he cut back the pass, it took a wicked deflection off Araujo and bounced up on to the Barca crossbar!
Interesting changes from Koeman. Pedri and Trincao are on as Barcelona look for a goal to win this match. The Dutchman clearly trusts the two youngsters after their arrival this summer.
- OffLucas OcamposSevilla FC
- OnYoussef En-NesyriSevilla FC
En-Nesyri comes on for Sevilla as Lopetegui shuffles his team for the final half hour of this match.
- OffSusoSevilla FC
- OnMunir El HaddadiSevilla FC
Here's a familiar face for Barcelona. On comes Munir for the last 30 minutes.
- OffAnsu FatiFC Barcelona
- OnPedriFC Barcelona
And another summer signing is thrown on by Koeman, with Pedri on for Ansu.
- OffAntoine GriezmannFC Barcelona
- OnFrancisco TrincãoFC Barcelona
Koeman makes his first change of the night and it's Griezmann who comes off for Trincao.
Fortune for Carlos! The Sevilla centre back heads behind for a corner kick from a Roberto cross into the middle, but there was a moment there where Carlos surely had his heart in his mouth.
There is a sense that Barcelona's forwards have fallen out of the game a bit in this second half. Ansu in particular is struggling to get on the ball. Sevilla are covering him well.
The two teams are struggling to take a grip of this game at the moment, but both Barcelona and Sevilla's shape is good. It's been a while since that was the case for Barca.
Sevilla have some decent options on the bench. Will we see some of them soon? In fact, you could argue Sevilla actually have a better bench this evening than Barcelona!
Jordan strikes it! A training ground routine from Sevilla at the corner kick sees the pass played to Jordan on the edge of the box, but he sends his effort harmlessly wide of the near post.
Barcelona are having trouble playing out from the back. It's not just that Sevilla are pressing high, it's that they are closing off the passing options to Pique and Neto when they have the ball.
Poor pass! Ansu had Alba on the overlap just inside the Sevilla penalty area, but the pass was slack from the teenager and the opportunity disappears for Barcelona.
PICTURE: Coutinho equalised for Barca
Griezmann was in behind! The pass was played to play the Frenchman in behind the Sevilla defence, but Bono came out and smothered the shot. Griezmann should have done better with that.
What will the second half have in store? This has been a highly entertaining match so far between two teams that have started the season very well. Sevilla have more than held their own!
The second half is under way! It's between Barcelona and Sevilla in this La Liga fixture at the Camp Nou.
What did you make of the first half at the Camp Nou? Does Koeman need to make any alterations to his Barcelona team? How well have Sevilla played so far? Tweet me your thoughts!
HALF TIME: Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla. A very entertaining half of football comes to a close at the Camp Nou. The scoreline is probably a fair reflection of the match so far. Sevilla have impressed.
Araujo has looked very assured at the back for Barcelona this evening in the place of the suspended Lenglet. Do they really need Garcia from Manchester City? Is Araujo not enough?
MESSI... wide of the far post! For the first time in the match, Messi is given space to sprint into, he cuts inside and gets the left-footed strike away on goal, but it is deflected wide of the far post.
This has been a breathless first half at the Camp Nou. Lopetegui will be relatively pleased with how his team have played so far, but Sevilla are capable of even more.
Almost all of Barcelona's attacks are coming down the left side. There is so much space over on the right. This is surely part of the reason why they have signed Dest to provide an outlet there.
Ansu worked himself a dangerous position inside the Sevilla penalty area, but the teenager decides to play the pass instead of taking the shot himself. That wasn't the right decision.
PICTURE: It's been an entertaining start!
That was impressive defending. Ocampos surged into the Barcelona box with the ball at his feet, but Araujo kept his eye on the ball and made the clean challenge to win possession.
The tempo of this match has been incredible in the opening half hour or so. Sevilla are a very well organised side under Lopetegui. They know what they are and they're very good at being themselves.
Suso into the side netting! Barcelona give the ball up in a dangerous position, Suso had de Jong in the middle until he fell over and that forced the winger to shoot into the side netting from a tight angle.
Ansu... straight at Bono! That was an opportunity for the teenager to find the back of the net, but Ansu shoots at the Sevilla goalkeeper. That chance was created by Messi's pass.
Roberto is being pushed so high up the right side that he is quite often the furthest forward Barcelona player. That is surely a role the new signing Dest will thrive in. Will he come on tonight?
Not so long ago, it seemed that Coutinho didn't have a future at Barcelona. Koeman has given the Brazilian another chance this season, though, and he looks revitalised. He's playing well!
PICTURE: Courtinho equalised for Barca
Barcelona have only had 41% of possession in this first half so far. That is notable. Not many teams come to the Camp Nou and dominate the ball like Sevilla have so far tonight.
Sevilla are playing a very high defensive line. They are trusting themselves to have the pace to cover the space in behind, but it has proved to be an effective strategy so far.
Ansu hasn't really had a chance to run at the Sevilla defence. It's noticeable that the away side are swarming players around the teenager whenever Barcelona play him the ball.
Barcelona are doing a lot more to win the ball high up the pitch under Koeman. Sevilla coughed up possession for that last opportunity for Griezmann. They need to be nimble against the high press.
Into the side netting! Ansu played a pass into Griezmann which allowed him to turn on the edge of the box. The angle was tight for the Frenchman, though, and he toe-pokes into the side netting.
This has been a very intense start to the match. Both teams are looking to attack whenever they have the ball and Sevilla have approached this game with no fear. They are playing well.
Fernando was up from midfield! A rapid attack from Sevilla sees Navas released to the byline, he cut back the pass, but Fernando couldn't make a connection as the ball flashed across the face.
This 4-2-3-1 system Koeman has favoured over the early part of the season looks to be a good fit for Barcelona. One player who has benefited from it is de Jong. He has started the season well.
Sevilla proved their pedigree by winning the Europa League again last season, beating Manchester United in the semi finals and then Inter in the final. Lopetegui has taken them to another level.
Nobody was quite sure what to expect from Barcelona coming into this season, but they impressed in their first two games against Villarreal and Celta Vigo. This is a tougher test, though.
Sevilla have already shown in the early stages of this match that they are not here to make up the numbers and have played with bravery in the opening 15 minutes or so.
Well, we thought this might be an entertaining match and so it has proved in the opening 10 minutes. Barcelona and Sevilla have both found the back of the net and there will surely be more goals.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Barcelona 1 (10 mins - Philippe Coutinho) Sevilla 1. An instant response from Barcelona who have found a quickfire equaliser! Messi played a pass to the right wing, Navas made an interception, but the ball ended up in front of Coutinho and the Brazilian playmaker found the back of the net from inside the box!
There was a game between these two teams last season in which de Jong missed a number of great scoring chances and Barcelona won 4-0 in the end. The Dutchman has scored one here, though!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Barcelona 0 Sevilla 1 (8 mins - Luuk de Jong). Sevilla have an early lead at the Camp Nou! Barcelona are caught out by the short corner, Suso gets the cross into the middle, the ball bounces around the penalty area and falls at the feet of de Jong who fires a shot into the roof of the net!
Of course, Rakitic is back to face his former side this evening. The Croatian left Barcelona this summer after a number of years at the Camp Nou. Could he make the difference for Sevilla tonight?
This has been a solid start to the match by Sevilla. They are a serious team under Lopetegui which has led many to suggest that they could be outsiders for the title this season.
Ocampos heads over! Sevilla take a short corner with Suso getting the delivery into the near post. Suso got on the end of the cross, but glances his header over the Barcelona crossbar.
This has the potential to be the match of the weekend in La Liga with Barcelona and Sevilla arguably the two best teams in Spanish football at this moment in time. This should be good.
