Barcelona claim their first league win at Balaidos for six years! This was an impressive display from the Catalans, who were reduced to 10 men at the end of the first half. Koeman adapted their system and they coped very well, scoring twice more in the second period. Barca have started the season well! Now they face Sevilla on Sunday.

- End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Celta Vigo 0-3 Barcelona
- GoalSergi RobertoFC Barcelona
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Celta Vigo 0 Barcelona 3 (90+5 mins - Sergio Roberto). The finishing touches are applied by Roberto in stoppage time! Messi's dribble and shot inside the area is blocked by Villar, but the ball fell back to the Barcelona right back and he makes no mistake with a powerful strike into the roof of the net!
- Yellow cardFran BeltranRC Celta
A yellow card for Beltran and Barcelona are just seconds away from an important win on the road.
Araujo has played very well since coming off the bench for Barcelona. The young defender has proven himself as a good option behind Lenglet and Pique tonight.
There is still a little bit of work for Barcelona to do to get over the line here. Celta Vigo are looking for a way through, but the away side are so well organised at the back.
There will be five minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
If Celta Vigo are to mount any sort of fightback here, they need a goal soon. As things stand, that doesn't look likely. Barcelona have managed to keep their structure at the back.
- Yellow cardSergio BusquetsFC Barcelona
Busquets becomes the latest player to enter the referee's book. Yellow card for the midfielder.
This was the second Barca goal...
Koeman will surely reflect on another excellent display by his side, assuming nothing unexpected happens in the final few minutes of this match. Barcelona have been impressive again.
- Yellow cardJordi AlbaFC Barcelona
After some consideration, Alba is shown a yellow card for that tackle on the goalkeeper.
Colission! Villar and Alba clash as they both slide for the same ball. That was a nasty one, but both players are back on their feet. The Celta Vigo goalkeeper appeared to come worse off.
This has been a decent spell for Celta Vigo. If they could just find one goal, that could give us a grandstand finish at Balaidos. Neto punches clear a freekick effort from Nolito.
- Yellow cardJeison MurilloRC Celta
Murillo becomes the latest player to be shown a yellow card.
- OffRenato TapiaRC Celta
- OnFran BeltranRC Celta
On comes Beltran for the final 10 minutes. Can Celta Vigo find a way back into this game?
It was Roberto who made the block to ultimately deny Baeza, throwing himself at the ball on the slide. He made enough of a connection to deflect the ball up on to the woodwork.
Off the bar! That's the closest Celta Vigo have come to finding the back of the net, but Baeza's deflected effort comes off the top of the crossbar and bounces behind. Inches away from the hosts being back in this game.
- OffAnsu FatiFC Barcelona
- OnFrancisco TrincãoFC Barcelona
And another youngster comes off the bench for Barca, with Trincao introduced for the final 15 minutes.
- OffPhilippe CoutinhoFC Barcelona
- OnPedriFC Barcelona
A change for Barcelona. Ansu comes off and he is replaced by summer signing, Pedri.
Into the wall! Messi lined up the freekick 25 yards out, but the Argentine sends his shot into the top of the Celta Vigo wall. He might have done better with that. It was a good position.
- Yellow cardRenato TapiaRC Celta
Tapia is shown a yellow card for fouling Messi about 25 yards out from goal.
It has been a miserable evening in Galicia. The wind and rain has made conditions very difficult for both teams. A lot of grimacing from the players, with the managers sheltered in the dugouts.
PICTURE: Ansu opened the scoring early on
Koeman has sent some of his substitutes to go warm up down the touchline. Could we see Pjanic introduced at some point? Trincao is also being put through his paces down there.
This second half performance from Barcelona has been rather impressive. Despite being reduced to 10 men at the end of the first half, they have managed to keep their structure.
Pique is down! The Barcelona centre back is on the ground and needs some treatment, but he should be fine to continue. Koeman certainly can't afford another defender out for the weekend!
Apologies for the break in bringing you updates from this match. Some technical gremlins on our end. They have now been locked away and told they can't come out again...
- OffEmre MorRC Celta
- OnSanti MinaRC Celta
Here comes Mina for Celta Vigo. Can he make the difference for the side with 10 men?
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... NO! Messi has the ball in the back of the net, but the linesman's flag is up for offside. That was tight! Messi was JUST offside when the shot was fired off by Coutinho, with the ball coming back off the post.
- OffGabriel VeigaRC Celta
- OnNolitoRC Celta
Celta Vigo make a change with Nolito coming off the bench for the final 30 minutes.
- Own-goalLucas OlazaRC Celta
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Celta Vigo 0 Barcelona 2 (50 mins - Lionel Messi). Despite being down a man, Barcelona have doubled their advantage five minutes into the second half. Messi dribbled past two Celta Vigo defenders and got a shot away. It picked up a big deflection and ended up in the back of Villar's net!
- OffJoseph AidooRC Celta
- OnMiguel BaezaRC Celta
Celta Vigo have made a change for the start of the second half, with Baeza coming off the bench for the home side.
- 2nd Half
The second half is under way! Barcelona have a 1-0 lead over Celta Vigo in this La Liga fixture!
What did you make of the first half at Balaidos? Was the decision to send off Lenglet the right one? Is Ansu the best teenager in world football at this moment in time? Tweet me your thoughts!
- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Celta Vigo 0-1 Barcelona. The Catalans have the lead at Balaidos after the opener from Ansu, but the match has been complicated since the sending off of Lenglet. The second period is interesting.
- OffAntoine GriezmannFC Barcelona
- OnRonald AraújoFC Barcelona
There's a change from Koeman in response to the red card. Griezmann comes off for Araujo.
How will Barcelona react to that red card shown to Lenglet? How will Koeman adapt the system of his side? Can Celta Vigo use their man advantage and clamber back into this game?
There will be three minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the first half.
The Barcelona players are still surrounding the referee as they voice their displeasure over the decision to send of Lenglet, but it was a yellow card and the defender was already on a booking.
- Red cardClément LengletFC Barcelona
SENT OFF! Lenglet has been shown a second yellow card for a flailing arm into the face of Denis and Barcelona have been reduced to 10 men! Pique has also been booked for his protestations!
PICTURE: Ansu opened the scoring for Barca
Messi from the corner! The Barcelona number 10 has been trying that for months and he almost managed it there! Messi's effort straight from the corner kick flashes just over the crossbar!
- Yellow cardJoseph AidooRC Celta
Aidoo enters the book for a bad tackle on Ansu to bring down the teenager.
Koeman will be relatively pleased with what he has seen from his team in this first half so far. Barcelona haven't been as ruthless as they were against Villarreal, but this is a tough place to come.
Ansu plays the cross into Messi, but the ball was a little strong for the Argentine. Ronaldinho was a mentor to Messi and Messi could be similar for Ansu. What a talent he is.
Red card! Rescinded! The referee flashes a red card to Pique for bringing down Denis as the last man, but the flag was up for offside and the Barcelona centre back gets away with it!
Griezmann does look more comfortable in this system, but the Frenchman's touch has let him down a couple times tonight. He has to take these chances to silence his doubters.
- OffJosé FontánRC Celta
- OnNéstor AraujoRC Celta
A first half change for the home side with Araujo coming off the bench for Celta Vigo.
That's a loose pass from Messi, which gives Aspas the chance to break forward on the counter attack, but the cross was the Celta Vigo forward was too close to Neto. He gathers.
Poor touch! That should have been a golden opportunity for Griezmann, but the Frenchman took a heavy touch after a good pass into him and the ball rolled through to Villar.
Celta Vigo have reacted well to falling behind, but Barcelona are still seeing more of the ball. If they can sharpen up their play in the attacking third, a second goal could be a matter of time.
- Yellow cardClément LengletFC Barcelona
Lenglet was shown a yellow card for commiting the foul that led to that last Celta Vigo freekick.
Into the wall! Aspas was presented with a good shooting opportunity on the edge of the box, but the Celta Vigo forward sent his freekick effort into the Barcelona wall. He should have tested Neto.
De Jong lools very comfortable in this system, but Busquets doesn't look to be at ease playing as one half of a midfield two. Could Pjanic take Busquet's place in this Barca side?
Coutinho has been given something of a free role in this Barcelona team. Koeman's appointment has given the Brazilian another opportunity to prove he belongs at the Camp Nou.
The conditions are still dreadful at Balaidos. The rain and wind is still very strong, but they don't appear to be affecting the play of the two teams too badly. Barcelona are on top.
Three goals in two games suggests Ansu will be a very important figure for Barcelona this season. Do the Catalans really need a new centre forward when they have this talent?
Veiga to the byline! Good play from the Celta Vigo man to get to the byline and fire a pass into the middle, but Neto was alert to the danger and the Barca goalkeeper palms away.
In difficult conditions, this has been a good start to the match for Barcelona. They have seen most of the ball and they have opened the scoring through Ansu within 15 minutes.
The clarity of Ansu's thinking and decision-making when he is presented with an opportunity is astonishing for someone so young. He took that goal so well. Turn and instant finish.
What a talent Ansu is. He makes scoring look so easy. He scored twice and won a penalty against Villarreal at the weekend and has opened the scoring here. Ansu isn't the future, he's the present!
- GoalAnsu FatiFC Barcelona
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Celta Vigo 0 Barcelona 1 (12 mins - Ansu Fati). It's the teenager again! He has found the back of the net again for Barcelona! Coutinho played a pass through to Ansu, he turned his marker on the edge of the box and toe-poked a finish home at the near post before Villar could get his feet sorted! Barca have the lead!
Roberto starts at right back this evening, but he will soon have stiff competition for that position with Barcelona announcing the signing of Sergino Dest from Ajax earlier today.
Griezmann over the bar! That was always going to be difficult for the Frenchman, with a partially cleared de Jong cross falling to Griezmann, but he volleys high over the Celta Vigo crossbar.
Celta Vigo are doing their best to prevent Barcelona from playing out from the back. They have Pique and Lenglet marked whenever Neto has a goal kick, forcing him to go long.
Barcelona were extremely impressive against Villarreal at the weekend, claiming a 4-0 win that could have been even more emphatic. There's a mood of optimism at the Camp Nou.
In behind! Mallo played an excellent pass in behind the Barcelona backline, but Mor tripped as he attempted to get a cross into the middle. That was an opportunity for Celta Vigo.
It's been SIX years since Barcelona won at Balaidos. Back then, Jeremy Mathieu scored a winner for the Catalans. Since then they have drawn three and lost three of six fixtures.
It's an energetic start from Barcelona who have their foot on the ball already and having Celta Vigo camped inside their own half in the early stages of this match. The pattern has been established.
