Pique makes the tackle! Sobrino dribbles into the Barcelona box, but Pique makes the slide tackle to stop the Cadiz forward before he could at least test ter Stegen with a shot on goal.

Gavi plays a good ball over the top, but Cadiz make the intervention. Then the home side come flying forward on the counter attack and Dest has to track back to make the tackle.

That was a half chance for the home side with the freekick delivery played into the Barcelona box looking for Negredo, but the clearance is eventually made by the away side.

Busquets is penalised for a foul on Alvaro and there are already signs that Cadiz will impose their own game on Barcelona. They won't wait for the Catalans to make a move.

Gavi has been handed his first start for Barcelona this evening with Demir also in the starting lineup for the Catalans. Koeman is desperately short of options. Injuries are bad.

Of course, Cadiz beat Barcelona here last season, but there were no fans in the stands for that one. The supporters are back tonight, so they will want to repreat the trick!

What will this evening’s match produce? Barcelona badly need a victory to ease the pressure on themselves and on their under-fire manager, Koeman. This is a must-win.
