Olivera makes a driving run on the left, and cuts the ball back looking for Sandro in the Madrid box, but David Alaba hacks the ball clear.

The initial free-kick delivery is headed clear, but Madrid recycle the ball but Getafe get the block in and the ball is out for a Madrid corner on the left-hand side.

Kroos is fouled by Cabaco and Los Blancos have a free-kick from a dangerous position just outside the box on the left.

Casemiro is found by Modric just outside the penalty area, and the Brazilian lays off Benzema, who puts in a low ball across the box for Rodrygo but the Getafe back line put their bodies on the line to keep the ball out.
The fourth official raises his flag - Benzema was in an offside position.

Benzema tries a bending shot from just outside the box on the left hand side, but he gets under the ball and his effort goes well high and wide.

Casemiro picks out Modric on the right, who lays off Vazquez for the cross.
The full-back centres the ball for Kroos, who looks to cut across the ball first-time from just inside the box, but his effort is just wide!
Real Madrid are really turning up the heat here!

Some tremendous one-touch play from Madrid just outside the Getafe penalty area, and Karim Benzema leaves the ball for Modric to hit, but his left-footed effort smacks the crossbar!

What an effort from Modric!
The Croatian is 25-yards out and lets fly with a powerful shot from distance towards the bottom corner, but Soria gets a critical touch and it goes out for a corner!

Jorge Cuenca puts in another bad foul - the heavy challenges from Getafe seem to be a pre-planned ploy to stop the flow of the game. No bookings so far as of yet, but the referee needs to keep his eye on things so they don't get out of hand.
