With ten minutes to kick off, we're expecting the main battle of the game to be in midfield where the hosts will look to flood the engine room and suffocate the output of Kroos and Modric.

Real come into this game unbeaten in their last six in all competitions, and they've won each of their last three by a 2-1 scoreline.

Real will go top if they win today, leapfrogging Real Sociedad and Sevilla in the process, whilst should Granada upset the balance and defeat Los Blancos, they will move away from the relegation zone, up to 15th.

Granada have lost their last 12 La Liga encounters with Real, which is their longest run of defests against a specific opponent in the league.

For Real, Kroos and Modric will orchestrate, with the Croatian more advanced than the German, and Casemiro will be the deeper destroyer, winning the ball back and recycling possession quickly. Mendy and Carvajal will bomb forwards on the overlap as Asensio and Vinicius move inside to support Benzema in the box.

We expect the home side to sit deep and look to counter Real's forecasted dominance of the ball. Rochina and Monchu will have to work hard shuttling from third to third flanking Gonalons, and Puertas and Soro will be expected to track back and follow the runs of their opposing full-backs.

As for Real, the back four stays constant in front of Thibaut Courtois: Dani Carvajal, Nacho, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy as it was in the win against Rayo Vallecano, but Nacho replaces Eder Militao in the middle. Casemiro is joined by Luka Modric and Toni Kroos as usual, with Vinicius Junior and Marco Asensio either side of sole striker Karim Benzema.

The home side are in what seems to be a 4-3-3, but we're expecting more of a 4-5-1 out of possession. Luis Maximiliano is shielded by a back four of Quini and Carlos Neva at full-back, with Victor Diaz partnered by German Sanchez in an experienced central defensive pair. Maxime Gonalons is flanked by Ruben Rochina and Monchu in the engine room, with Antonio Puertas, Luis Suarez and Alberto Soro ahead of them in attack.
