ISCO ON THE VOLLEY
Isco whacks a volley over the bar that looked, for a moment at least, like it could cause Oblak some trouble.
Actually, it was way over.

REKIK OFF INJURED
Just before the goal Rekik was replaced by United loanee Alex Telles. Looks like an injury.

LLORENTE GOES CLOSE AGAIN
Lethal stuff from Llorente whose lashed shot on the angle hits the sidenetting.
Atleti well on top now after a slow start. The boos have started.

DELANEY BOOKED
Sevilla have looked a little cocky in defence and a few late touches, late passes and poor choices have cost them.
This time Delaney pulls down Cunha.

GOAL! SEVILLA 0 ATLETICO 1 (Llorente, 29')
A fabulous finish from Llorente against the run of play.
Koke grabs the assist, switching to Llorente who jinks past his marker and rifles across Bono for the opener.
Great footwork.

SAUL GOES CLOSE
Full disclosure, I assumed Saul Niguez was still warming the bench at Stamford Bridge. One of those transfers that had so little impact that I assumed it must have happened this summer.
Well, he's at Atleti, and he almost scores with a first-time striker from outside the box that's well saved by Bono.

SEVILLA ON TOP
Lively from the hosts with everything going through Isco.
They're stringing together passes now and Atleti have hardly had a moment on the ball in the past five minutes.
Sevilla are being very patient and playing their way through the Diego Simeone press.

LAMELA ROLLS OUT THE SKILLS
The former Spirs man looks likely and reels out some nice skills inside the Atleti box.
Sevilla win a free-kick but Isco's whipped effort is cleared.

LLORENTE HEADS WIDE
Decent opening for the Atleti mid, heading wide from a long cross.
CLOSE!
Morata has space enough to take a touch inside the box and tee himself up for the shot but he blazes over. Should have hit the target.
More chances please.

SCRAPPY START
An other flying challenge, this time from Sevilla's Rekik.
Ouch.
Plenty of bodies being thrown in the way of balls too, it's like they're all goalkeepers.

PREMIER LEAGUE MEMORIES
Speaking of Lamela, there are other former PL stars on display today.
Atleti have former Chelsea man Morata up front, while Sevilla have former United man Januzaj on the bench with his former City rival Jesus Navas.

ISCO BOOKED
First yellow of the day goes to Isco who is booked for a tough tackle. A vintage yellow that, nothing more, nothing less.

LAMELA WASTES CHANCE
The former Spurs man worms his way into the box but wastes the opportunity with a wayward pass that's easily blocked.
They do grab a corner that comes to nothing, followed quickly by another Atleti corner that comes to nothing.

ATLETICO WIN EARLY CORNER
The visitors grab the first corner of the match and its swept away without too much trouble.
Atletico have a benched stacked full of talent by the way. The perpetual substitute Griezmann is there alongside Felix. We've also got Carrasca and Kondogbia waiting for a chance.

ATLETICO OFF FORM
It's been a mixed season for Atletico so far. Three wins, a draw, two losses, is not really good enough for a side crowned La Liga champions just 15 months ago.
They're in seventh, and already eight points adrift of city rivals Real who have won all six of their matches.
Sevilla, however, have fared worse. They're 16th and in danger of getting dragged into a relegation battle ahead of the World Cup.
Nobody wants their side to be toying with the bottom three when everyone heads to Qatar.
