Coupet suffers injury
Lyon goalkeeper Gregory Coupet could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after injuring his knee in training.
The France international suffered a twisted knee and will undergo tests later to determine the seriousness of the injury.
The initial diagnosis by Lyon's club doctor Jean-Jacques Amprino does not appear too healthy.
"It looks serious. It is a big pull. The interior ligament could have been affected."
Lyon, the six-time defending champions, open their Ligue 1 campaign with a home match against Auxerre on Sunday.
With Coupet almost certainly out of that game, Remy Vercoutre is expected to come in as a replacement.
