Marseille striker Mamadou Niang is sad and surprised that no-one has bid for him so far as he dreams of a move to England.
The Senegal international, 30, wants to leave the French champions but admitted that there have been no takers - even from the lucrative Arab leagues.
"At my age it is perhaps the last chance I will get to have a good challenge abroad," he told France Football. "I have never hidden the fact that England has always been my dream.
"But no proposal has come, from England or the United Arab Emirates or anywhere else for that matter.
"I am not offended, just a little bit surprised and disappointed. I won't hide the fact I was expecting a bit more recognition.
"I thought I had proved I could move to a certain level."
