FULL TIME! What a remarkable game. An impossibly dull and bloodless start, and then Kylian Mbappe made it look like there was nothing in it. But for a couple of tight decisions, it might have been 4-0. This is Monaco's third successive win, and Cesc Fabregas was at the heart of it.

Dagba fails to clear the ball in the box, and both Fabregas and then Volland swing a leg at the ball and fail to find the target.
Dagba plays the ball into Kean who miscontrols, Sarabia snaps a shot at goal with the loose ball, but Mannone goes down quickly to save.
Volland and Fabregas team up well again, with Volland working the ball to Fabregas, who fires just over the bar from close range.

GOAL! Monaco 1-2 PSG. Volland scores - Martins plays a one-two into the box, he is tackled, forcing the ball inside, and Volland is on home to stab home.
Volland flicks on a cross at the near post and Navas tips it wide. Seconds later, a fierce header from Volland at the near corner is beaten out by the 'keeper again for another vital save.
Monaco moving the ball far quicker now, the ball eventually runs to Henrique, who has a shot blocked. The home side appear to be more willing to attack now, perhaps because they have no choice.
Di Maria scoops the ball over the wall, and it keeps rising over the bar.
We go again. Mbappe is tripped on the edge of the box.
HALF TIME. See you in 15 minutes.

GOAL! Monaco 0-1 PSG. Mbappe scores - he sprints away from the central defensive pairing and sizes up Mannone, who dips a little, and the striker fires into the roof of the net.
What is there to say about this game? Very little. Monaco are very limited going forward and refuse to commit men in attack. Understandable, of course, but at the other end it means that they have plenty of people to cover a PSG attack which is not at its best. Fofana sends a swirling shot wide of the post from distance.
Danilo gets himself a booking for a sliding tackle that is late and into Tchouameni.
Mbappe lays the ball off to Di Maria, and he whips a shot at goal with defenders closing in, but the ball fires a couple of yards wide.
Monaco's time on the ball now, but PSG have it back in midfield.
Free kick for Monaco, centrally placed. Volland fires it straight at Navas, who beats it away.
Tactically fascinating, some might say. Dull, might be the opinion of others.
PSG are dominating possession at the moment. Dagba attacks down the right but is tackled, and Monaco have it back.
Mbappe lurks on the left...
A dreadful clearance goes straight to Di Maria from Mannone, who feeds Kean, and the Italian keeper is out quickly to snaffle the ball.
Navas humps it clear.

This marks the return of proper football after we debased ourselves during that three-year international break.
Monaco meanwhile are in sixth. A awin for them could take them as high as second, in theory.
You will be shocked to hear that PSG are top of the table in France. I know, unbelievable! They are five points clear at the top and would pull further away from Lille with a win, who are currently in second.
